| LordofIllusions02-14-05, 03:22 PM | IMO it would be a good idea to do a mid-to-high level(starting @ 6th-level taking the PCs to somewhere around 15th-level) adventure path for Eberron, in Dungeon magazine. I understand that in Eberron character levels should not be as high as in other campaign settings, which was why I said 15th-level instead of level 20. The adventure path could be a continuation of the three Eberron gaming modules. I think that this would not only increase Dungeon magazines sale, it would provide more entertainment for those players whom have already completed the three Eberron gaming modules. ~~~ |
| Takasi02-14-05, 03:46 PM | Erik Mona has stated that they have commissioned Keith Baker to write Eberron conversion sidebars for the next Dungeon Adventure Path. |
| Takasi02-14-05, 04:10 PM | The latest news from the Breland Ledger has some news on this: http://breland-ledger.blogspot.com/ Erik Mona has confirmed (http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/dungeon/adventurePath/newAdventurePathV20) that the next Dungeon Adventure Path will be named "Age of Worms" and will kick off in the July issue (124) just in time for Gen Con. As previously reported, Keith Baker has been signed to write Eberron conversion sidebars for each adventure. |
| Golbez5702-14-05, 04:22 PM | That's fantastic news! As a Dungeon subscriber who also frequents their message boards, it's clear that the editors and readership alike are interested in the magazine being as universal as possible. Having conversion sidebars is an alternative that should be palatable to almost everyone. ALMOST. *thought balloon appears above head* "Ilmater111 wrote: WTF? Where's the FR sidebars? It's hippocritical not to include both. I'll never subscribe or buy this mag again!"* *Disclaimer: This is in no way a slam against the many passionate Forgotten Realms fans. It is instead meant to be a humorous commentary on the old adage "You can't please everybody all the time. Misspellings are intentional. |
| Takasi02-14-05, 06:03 PM | In the thread they said there should be Greyhawk and FR sidebars as well. |
| MrFilthyIke02-15-05, 10:08 AM | hippocritical My new word of the day. :) |
| Golbez5702-15-05, 11:35 AM | Whew, good thing that all three "core settings" will be given equal treatment. The Paizo boards weren't loading for me yesterday, so I wasn't able to go there from the Journal link you provided until today. Thanks for the scoop, Takasi. Oh, and MrFilthyIke, just be sure to read the *Disclaimer! That one is ported directy from heated discussion at these very forums; I wish I could remember in which thread it appeared. |
