pg. 31 under Denizens of the Bazaar:

7. The elf Garay Gyriaz runs Garay's Games, a small wooden shop offering the
finest in games, including Conqueror, Dragonhunt, Engagement, and Three-Dragon
Ante. Specialty versions of the games-carved from livewood, obsidian, or silver-are
available for wealthy gaming enthusiasts.

So, anyone else think this is a easter egg, and an oddly timed one considering the book
only came out in Feb.

Or am I on something? :)

P.S. Only just realized calling an "egg" is even more appropriate.
My reply:
Hmm.. the elf Garay Gyriaz

Beautiful ... seems to good to not be the case, so I'm going to say it is ... but even if it wasn't intentional it stands as a found EGG now.

It's pretty clearly a reference to Gary. It might even have been spurred on by insider-knowledge. He was ill for a while, so it's possible someone hedged their bets and slipped this in, wanting to get a little salute in before... you know.

Yeah...I slipped that in there as a little hat's off to The Creator...though it becomes sadly more poignant now.

We'll miss you Gary.
