Eastern lands in Eberron? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-09-04, 02:14 AM Are there any "Eastern" lands in Eberron? Like, who originated katanas in Eberron? I am assuming there are no asian themed areas in Eberron.

06-09-04, 07:22 AM Your bastard sword could always have a slightly curved, single blade design- I think a slightly thicker blade than is common for a human katana would fit nicely in the hands of, say, dwarves. Throw some dwarven runes on the side of the blade and viola!

Just don't call it a katana in Eberron.

the samurai got curved "Katanas" onyl after the mongol invasion somewhere around the fifth centurey (i think) even then, the swords during that time were actually used as good luck charms. gifts to the gods if you will....
before that time, they were straight.
i am obsessed with samurai
