| Hellcow08-14-04, 09:35 PM | Hey folks! Having gotten to know many of you through the boards, I was just curious: Who's going to be at GenCon? |
| Joni-san08-14-04, 09:43 PM | Not me at least :(. Even if I had the moolah I couldn't get my parents permission (they aren't bad, they just want me to be safe) *sighs* I couldn't get to Ropecon either... *double sigh* and that was within my grasps... :( Two more years man and I'll be able to attend Ropecon without a hitch man. A decade of labor and maybe I'll be able to attend GenCon. *triple sigh* |
| stone_dog08-14-04, 10:16 PM | There is a very slim chance that I will be taken to GenCon in Anaheim, but that is a bit in the future to be planning about. |
| Edymnion08-14-04, 11:26 PM | Not I, I'll be at Dragon*Con though, and we all know that Dragon is better than Gen any day ;) |
| peterson08-15-04, 02:17 AM | Sadly, due in part to illness and company politics (company-wide merger), I will not be able to attend this year's Gen Con as I originally considered. However, my dear loving wife has said that next year should work - baring any unforeseen roadblocks. So, maybe then? Subquestion to attach to this thread, if I may: Any member of the Korranbeg Chronicle going to Gen Con (er, besides the obvious one)? Peterson |
| Save_vs_DM08-15-04, 02:31 AM | My wife and I wanted to go, but can't afford to make the trip (unless something very fortunate happens). Cheers, Save vs DM |
| EberronJunkie08-15-04, 03:15 AM | i could, but i live in australia and thats a severe dent in the bank account |
| DreamingDark08-15-04, 03:23 AM | Count me in Daddio! Looking forward to seeing secrets revealed, and trying not blurt out any prematurely. Looking most forward to seeing you and the fine Ms Cakes! Be seeing you, :)Lee |
| Save_vs_DM08-15-04, 03:34 AM | At least one person from Portland, OR is going... Cheers, Save vs DM |
| Pallis08-15-04, 05:51 AM | ...could we have the GenCon UK back please? Seriously, it seems as though our American cousins have all the fun! *well, not all, but you know what I mean* :whatsthis |

| Pallis08-15-04, 01:30 PM | especially if you *shock! horror!* live outside of London... |

There are trees in England? I thought the trees were props in those Monty Python sketches I grew up watching... ;) |
| MrFilthyIke08-15-04, 02:59 PM | PS: I'll be at GenCon on Thursday only :D |

| Docrailgun08-15-04, 04:02 PM | I'll be there, but unfortunately I'll be chained to an RPGA table to run ten slots of Legacy of the Green Regent... so I can't come search out Your Infernal Bovine-ness. Hopefully you'll be at Winter Fantasy for the opening of "Living Eberron". Kevin Horner Originally posted by Hellcow Hey folks! | Medesha08-15-04, 04:15 PM | I'll be there, possibly even with bells on. |
| RangerWickett08-15-04, 05:58 PM | Keith, I'm going to GenCon on the cheap, and I'd love to be able to say hi and . . . if you're running a game and you've got a free slot. . . . *grin* I don't know if he posts over here, but at the ENWorld board, my friend BrooklynKnight is letting me crash with him. |

But it just might happen! |
| RangerWickett08-16-04, 12:20 PM | Keith, what's your schedule look like? Any events you're going to be at? |
| Josh Wilhoyte08-16-04, 02:07 PM | Dragon Con Dragon Con Dragon Con !!! Dragon Con Dragon Con Dragon Con !!! Dragon Con Dragon Con Dragon Con !!! Dragon Con Dragon Con Dragon Con !!! Dragon Con Dragon Con Dragon Con !!! Dragon Con Dragon Con Dragon Con !!! Hoody hoo, only three more weeks. |
| Ed Gentry08-16-04, 02:22 PM | I'll be there on Saturday. I'm going to attend the Eb presentation at 10am, I believe it is. Also, Keith, I'll be playing poker (low stakes) that evening with author Richard Lee Byers as well. If you'd care to join us, just drop me an email or post a response here, whatever you'd like. -Ed Gentry |
| Elyot1608-16-04, 02:49 PM | I'll be at GenCon all four days. On a side note, I'm looking for a team for the Eberron Open. If anyone wants to play, I intend on getting in the Thursday 1:00pm slot. Other than that, I'm looking forward to meeting you Hellcow. Cya Thursday. |
| crazysamaritan08-16-04, 03:32 PM | It took me two months to find the site that even told me when/where IndyCon was. Anyone mind telling me where they get their links to the various Cons? |
| RangerWickett08-16-04, 03:46 PM | Well, www.gencon.com is a pretty obvious one. Other than that, if I'm interested in a con, I either do a Google search or ask on a messageboard. My preferred home is ENWorld (www.enworld.org/forums), but pretty much anywhere there will be people in the know. |

Don't remind me, we still gotta finish four sets of wings, find another Gabriel, and I still need to paint my helmet and find a way to attatch my shoulder plates. Hehehe, its gonna be a blast, we're gonna win the Masquerade again this year. |
| About Yea High08-16-04, 08:13 PM | I'll be there, along with my wife and all my homies (wait, I'm 36, can I say "homies"?) from Lyran Tal Press. We've decided, in lieu of waiting for the Sharn sourcebook, to kidnap Keith and make him run a Sharn campaign from the comfort of our hotel rooms. (Sure, we'll let 'im in on the room service orders... but the ceiling is ten bucks, man!) Wait, did DreamingDark say he was going to be there too? Dang, that's like having a githyanki/daelkyr hybrid bodyguard or something... I'm going to have to revise my plan. Oh, and Stone Dawg, if you hit our neck of the woods for the Anaheim convention, lemme know. We'll kidnap your arse too (simply on principle). Yea |
| Hellcow08-17-04, 02:34 AM | Originally posted by RangerWickett Keith, what's your schedule look like? Any events you're going to be at? BK just posted my schedule on the Breland Ledger. I'm spending 2-4 hours a day at the mysterious celebrity table, along with a few seminars (and the ENnies, crossing my fingers for Crime and Punishment). |
