I enjoyed it very much, and look forward to reading more. If your PC's are as well played as they are portrayed in the story, then that must be quite a treat for you, or whomever, is the dm. I can certainly invision this on screen and that captures the essence of Eberron. Very noir, starting the story out in a bar, and then that great fight scene, so very perfect. I wish you the best with the rest of the story. Oh, and koodos to the pcs for burning that tower down, that was a really good idea. Stradegy is a wonderful thing isn't it! |

I did use some poetic license on some sections (mainly the part where Galen asks for help from the Warforged), but the interactions in the bar, and the plan forming were all the PCs. It was a great fun game, and we are playing again not this weekened, but the next. I'm trying to get the group to come up with a name, as I'd like to title the whole thing, then give each session a name. Next time, on Eberron [Actual Play] Rumours abound around Sharn of an underground fighting ring, where local and visiting warriors pit their skill and ferocity against one another in a struggle for gold. Yet, all is not as it seems. Some bouts seem merely an exercise in cruelty, and not all fighters are made equal. Could the fighters be linked in some way to the mysterious disappearances about the city? The investigatos must rush to find out, particularly after one of their friends is kidnapped! |

| LoupDuNoir10-29-04, 04:59 AM | Oh indeed I do! (To quote my gf "Don't they realise how much work you put into this for them!?") Truth is, I just recently lost two players (Gaston and Zuur) because of differences at the table. I'm hoping that, with fewer people on the team, I will be able to focus more on what the remaining four want to do. So, expect less bad pulp investigation, more Indiana Jones! |
