| Zagumus09-26-04, 03:30 PM | There was an adveture released in a Dragon magazine, I read about it once but I can't find any info on it know. I was wounder if anyone could point me to the Dragon Issue it is in. the name was something like the Revenge of the Scarlet Queen I think, but I could really off. Thanks in advance. |
| Neofish09-26-04, 03:34 PM | I believe you mean Dungeon, and I the adventure your looking for is "The Queen with Burning Eyes" and it can be found in Dungeon #113. This is the first Eberron adventure published in Dungeon, that issue also comes with a giant Eberron poster map. |
| The White Sorcerer09-26-04, 03:41 PM | I think you mean Dungeon magazine. Apart from that, can't help you. I don't read Dungeon. |
| Zagumus09-26-04, 04:00 PM | Great thank you. I off to find a Dungeon #113. |
| Megatron09-26-04, 04:47 PM | the Queen with Burning Eyes is horribly written, don't bother. |
| chalybeous09-26-04, 04:58 PM | I hear Keith's adventure in Dungeon #115 is much better than "Queen with the Burning Eyes". Sadly, that issue hasn't reached us yet (over here in England, the store I work in got #114 last week) so you'll have to check with some other board members. That said, there's a rather cool adventure in #114 called "The Mad God's Key", which I'm planning to adapt to Eberron. |
| Zagumus09-26-04, 05:29 PM | Are there other Eberron adventures out there? (Beside the normal releases, Forgot Forge, Shadow of the last war and Whispers of the Vampires Blade) |
| stembolt09-26-04, 05:34 PM | I would note that the queen with the burning eyes is a great adventure. Many people do feel that it is badly written, but that has a lot more to do with the complexity of the adventure than anything else. So in short if you are not easily confused and like complicated adventures I would recommend it. |
| Neofish09-26-04, 06:07 PM | I hate the map for Queen with burning eyes, they tried to tie it in with D&D minis to much. Other than that It was okay. "Steel Shadows" in Dungeon #115 rocked! I mean our group loved it and our Warforged character almost turned against us because of the Rumble scene. |
| stembolt09-27-04, 12:20 AM | I hate the map for Queen with burning eyes, they tried to tie it in with D&D minis to much. Other than that It was okay. Lots of people keep saying this. Here’s my question, “what harm did it do?” some of us have the minis and want adventures that can use them. And for everyone else, nothing was taken away |
| Neofish09-27-04, 12:42 AM | It sucked because instead of a beautiful custom map we got genaric mini tiles stacked ontop of one another, so there are identical rooms right next to one another only placed differently, it was weak, I enjoy quality, not a corny plug-in. I thought D&D was about Roleplaying, not lilttle plastic toys. |
