| pseudonym09-03-05, 09:47 AM | Aside from Queen with Burning Eyes, Steel Shadows and Fallen Angel, are there any other Eberron specific adventures in Dungeon? If so, which issues? I'm not talking about adventures that could be adapted, I mean specifically made for Eberron. Thanks. |
| Ricohard_Draconis09-03-05, 09:52 AM | theres the adventure path that i can't remember the name of that ends with fernia becoming conterminous and affecting the cogs... theres also the one with all the dead warforged... |

Shards of Legend, or something like that. It's three sequential issues, but I don't remember which ones and all my magazines are packed up. I'm pretty sure they were recent, maybe go back two issues, I think it was right before Age of Worms began. (And I think the dead warforged one is Steel Shadows, that the OP mentioned.) |
| Ricohard_Draconis09-03-05, 10:27 AM | i think it ended crossing over with age of worms, but yes. theres also The clockwork fortress from issue 126 its not specifically eberron but its very close especially if you modify the derro into followers of the dragon below or other eberron esque villains. |
| Lady Morn09-03-05, 10:29 AM | The "Shards of Eberron" ran #123-#125. And while not an adventure, the Ring of Storms locale in Xen'drik was detailed in #122. As far as the "Shards of Eberron" go, I found them to be very poor adventures. They're essentially one adventure given three different titles. In each, a merchant hires the PCs to recover a large dragonshard. In the first, the PCs must defeat a halfling tribe with a Tyrannosaurus. The second, the PCs must defeat a tribe of drow with a giant scorpion. Finally, cultists with a red dragon. Simply, aside from altering the setting, there isn't anything that differentiates one from another. As mentioned above, the "Age of Worms" serial that's currently running has Eberron conversion downloads to accompany each installment, as well as scaling information to adjust each to a level appropriate to your players. I'd say take a look as those. As far as I'm concerned, AoW out-Eberrons the Eberron specific adventures in both quality and variety... |

Going a bit further on her points, the Eberron conversions for Age of Worms are mainly cosmetic in nature — changing a name here and there, and not much else. Otherwise, I agree — with the exception of "Three Faces of Evil" (which is nothing more than a placeholder with no story value whatsoever), these are good adventures and worth looking at. The campaign also has an additional download called "Overload" which contains outlines of each chapter, stats for most of the primary NPCs, artwork and the entire background story. | Von Ether09-03-05, 12:53 PM | I suggest reading the Overload first so you can lay down groundwork for the campaign (such as annoucing the clearing out of the Fallen quarter for an area.) The conversion notes are decent, letting you know to replace the "free city" with Sharn, etc. The starting town, Diamond Lake is rough and gritty, perfect for an Eberron setting as well. |
