| Erudite06-19-05, 02:54 PM | Any idea of how often the next few adventures will appear? In addition, does anyone have an idea if these will run up to 20th level? I'd love to make up my own stuff, but time is more valuable than gold for me. Thanks. |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast06-19-05, 04:22 PM | The current series finished with Grasp of the Emerald Claw, so if there are more adventures I doubt they will continue that story. It seems there are no more adventures on the product schedule either, so that means no adventures until October. After that date, only WotC knows, and they aren't telling! |
| Zalaz Mavi06-19-05, 04:53 PM | There was an interview with Rich Redman a few months ago where he stated that due to a sourcebook glut in the RPG market, WotC is planning to switch it's focus to publishing more modules. If my memory serves, that change is supposed to occur next year. I believe the interview was posted at either gamingreport.com or enworld.org. If I can uncover it, I'll post the link... |
| Erudite06-19-05, 06:55 PM | That would be really good news. I plan to start an Eberron game this summer, since the game I was running fell apart after a TPK. I would hate to have the characters be at lvl 7 or 8 and feel that the Eberron Adventure Path just ended there... If you can find that link, I'd be grateful. Thanks. |

| Ath'kethin06-20-05, 11:07 AM | There's an adventure story arc running in Dungeon Magazine tight now. It started with "Crypt of Crimson Stars" in issue #123, continues in "Temple of the Scorpion God" in issue #124 (the current issue), and will conclude with "Pit of the Fire Lord" in issue #125 (next month). |
| Urko06-20-05, 11:20 AM | There's an adventure story arc running in Dungeon Magazine tight now. It started with "Crypt of Crimson Stars" in issue #123, continues in "Temple of the Scorpion God" in issue #124 (the current issue), and will conclude with "Pit of the Fire Lord" in issue #125 (next month). I must say, I haven't thought much of the first two - especially "Temple of the Scorpion God." Pretty shallow - just a bunch of monsters slapped together, really. On the other hand, in general Dungeon is an excellent source of adventures, most of which are easily adapted to Eberron. The new "Age of Worms" campaign arc that's starting up even includes conversion notes (in the web supplement, anyway). A few other adventures have had Eberron adaptation notes as well. I'm not sure what I think about WotC putting out more adventures. I know a lot of people have been clamoring for it, so if they sell, great. Personally, I'm not particularly interested in buying them. I did by the Eberron modules, but that was because I'm a fanatic and there has still been relatively little material published. Once I've got Five Nations, Explorer's Handbook (maybe) and Magic of Eberron, my desperation to get new material will have worn off and modules won't hold much appeal. |
| Alisair Longreach II06-20-05, 11:39 AM | Dungeon 115 had a nice little murder mystery set in Sharn. |
| Urko06-20-05, 11:47 AM | Oh yeah, I forgot to mention "Steel Shadows" in #115, by Keith Baker. He also wrote "Fallen Angel" in #117. Both good adventures, especially the former. Of "Queen with Burning Eyes" we will not speak. |
| DarkJedi2606-21-05, 03:04 PM | id love to see a city based advenutre set in Sharn. There are a lot of intreging options in sharn. a nice 10 level adventure would be cool. |
