Ok, l suck at coming up with backgrounds for characters that's why l am posting this.
"plz don't flame me for this post"
This is the first time that l have played Eberron, lm a Forgotten Realms player at heart but my DM thought it would be a nice change to play a different setting so here l am....

Now heres my problem l don't won't to retire my FR character, (Ivan Isaac's - Wiz:28/Acm5), l won't to still use him in Eberron, but l won't to play a warforged (Sasori - Art:1)

l was thinking that Ivan could of brut a damaged warforged to Faerūn repaired it and made the warforged devoted to him (still thinking of how at the mo any help would be great) and then he sent the warforged back to Eberron to find out all he can about Eberron/Dragonshards/Dragon Magic....

That way l could bring Ivan to Eberron later [plus his flying city ;)] to make a new power struggle in Eberron.

Before l ask my DM if l can do this l need to come up with a good background/consept for him, has anyone got any ideas about how l can do this.

Thanx for any replys :D

An epic Eberron...Well you mean background for the Warforged? Well i guess the first Q would be what did you WF do during the last war? or is he a new on from The Lord of Blades Forge?

And your Wizard will be a allied of The Lord of Blades...Well until they dont need each other that is...

You could search for clues to the coming of this CITY in the prophecy..

Background:
Sasori was made in the mutated forges in the Mournland only a year ago. But his coming it know to the readers of the prophechy as the one that will herald the outsider.

He is the 13th warforged that year to get life blown into him.

Ok, I keep in mind having PC's run things with purist minds. I tend to withhold info and have my playres run with the knowledge given to them by me. That sparks me help you create your warforged with knowledge in mind.

Sasori's beginning's

Already others have been looking at your boys creation and it's implications. Now, what does he know? Did Ivan end up telling him about FR at all. Does Sarai have knowledge from anything outside of the ideas of Eberron? Like powerful epic mages and the like? History? Also, what are the orders given to him by Ivan? "Go out into Eberron and learn about it." "Go into Eberron and bring me back information about it." "Learn all that is possible for you to know about this new world." The particular instructions and the like combinded with his starting knowledge will highly shape how he learns and grows and what his motivations will eventually become. Will the second quote make him just get a small amount and being unmotivated for more or will the third one make him a knowledge savant and thus motivate for classes that apply to such.

Sasori's eventual revolt?
Also, since you're guy is a warforged Ivan is going to end up having troubles eventually. Sasori is not in anyway a mindless freakin' golem. He doesn't follow orders blindly to the letter "T". He's pretty dang more like a human baby with the ability to move around. The end of the Last War marks warforged has being their own animate thinking and purposeful creatures and are set 'free.' On a large scale this is known by the warforges, some relish in it, some don't. Certain situations can place warforges still in the slave mentallity though: In Karrnath and another country warforges are highly oppresed and many have become indentured servants. In my own game Sasori would probably end up gaining his own sense of self and independce and revolt against Ivan's grasp over him, doesn't really sound like you want that I bet.

Sasori and his true inner self

More importantly, Sasori has a soul. If he's truely a warforged then Sasori is really his own man and no one else's with 100% choice in what actions he will be taking even if those choices are inforced or influenced on him by a outside forces like his company sergeant or his friends around him that will influence what he encounters in life and their own reactions to what he does. If he wants the company sergeant happy he'll do what the man tells him to do and if he wants his friends happy he'll end up gaining similar qualities of those people like loyalty or disloyalty, happiness or hate, revenge or release, sunny side up or scrambled ect...

More on Sasori's beginning and training
In addition, new light has been shed upon warforged life since the setup the game last year. Races of Eberron, the book, tells us about how when creatured during the Last War, warforges didn't really start out completely sentient and ready for battle. They did start will prior knowledge to understand speech and basic movement, but not much else. They were put into classes, like in a monastary, and were taught in large groups how to fight and do certain tasks. I think that program was at least 3 months long and on a very large scale when created during that time they were always cretaed in batches b/c of how classes worked.

The knowledge and mission of Sasori

If his ultimate mission is to gain that knowledge for Ivan, keeping in mind warforged mentality from the RoE, then Sasori will do his best to always occupiy his time with learning b/c while they can do a task forever all warforged hate to do so, infact they enjoy being able to switch tasks and always strive to keep themselves occupied. As a little quirk I say Sasori should probably always carry around some books, 1 history, 1 about people or one person, 1 about magic ect... and when he gets bored say "Sasori pulls out The death and demise of Lord Hallis Tarkanan and he begins to read." Or maybe Sasori's apporach is different than an impersonal book. Maybe Sasori will like to spend time going up to people and asking them random or specificlly outlined questions and then writes down that new information?

Random things

What's your name?
What's your favorite color?
How do you feel right now?
What day do you think it its?

The report
Sarah Timpleton

her favorite color is blue, b/c she loves to look at the sky

at the moment I asked her she felt very sad b/c of a death in the family

at the moment of questioning she felt it was Sar during Sapharos during 998 the year of our King

Structured report
(Question pertaining to past plot line)
(Question to current plot line)
A question about history
A question about impression of another country
A question about impression of another organization

Report
(reply to plot line)

(Helpful or nonhelpful reply to currnent plot line)

During the Last War the Battle of Showered hill became famous for a sudden shower that was caused by two wizards counterspelling

This person (male/female, age, weight, compsure) lived in Cyre. They appreciate the fact that Breland let them live in the country, however the people haven't been nice to them and this makes this person put into the situation of bigotry and a strong sense of nationalism.

This person is a member of House Orien and in Sharn (their new home) House Oriend and House Vadalis are begining to become natural competetors b/c House Vadalis is recently competing for messageing service in Sharn.

The reporst would be highly influenced by the character's alignment as well.
For random always change out each set, chaotic would always change everything and the book may end up having no rhyme or reason and a neutral
good/evil or pure neutral would end up having maybe this first question down and then all the others change for a sense of small structure. Any lawful with go with the structured approach. Good would influence quesions about helping and aid and good people, evil would be questions about fears, pain, and edge on another person, personal gain and neutral would ofcourse be a mix and maybe even bold awkward questions like "when was the list time you killed man?"

Questions to ask

If you ever have trouble creating a detailed background just begin to write down questions:

where is my character from?
what does my character feel biased or predjudiced about?
what type of people does my character hate/like?
what hobbies does my character like/hate?
ect... ect...

Why does my char like this hobby?
Why does my char feel predjudised?
Why does my char like certain people and hate others?
ect... ect...
