| Solwynn11-18-04, 11:53 PM | I know that Eberron is supposed to evoke a certain mood and a flair for the swashbuckling but I often find my gaming group falling back into the usual hum-drum descriptions for actions taken by combatants. I am the DM for the group and I have tried (successfully, I think) to spice up combat situations and give more dynamic opportunities to the characters which encourage swashbuckling, but the game-speak around the table doesn't seem to reflect this mood. What I am looking for is a list of moody phrases/descriptions I can clip to my screens and use for run-of-the-mill combat actions. That way even a full attack without a 5 foot step might even have some mood-evoking elements to it. Bring 'em on! |
