I'm propably the last person to know this, but theres a Eberron comic in the making by Devil's Due Publishing called Eberron: Eye of the Wolf. It's written by our Infernal Bovine, Keith Baker and illustrated by Chris Lie. Lee Moyer also provides one of two covers.

Here's the Press Release (
http://www.devilsdue.net/press_releases/p2000_articleid/174) and the Preview (http://www.devilsdue.net/promo/EberronPreview/).

I know this has been linked on Bossy the Cow.com (http://www.bossythecow.com/), but I thought that I should make a topic just incase.

So what are your reactions?

I may be a little canon-fanboy, but the half-dozen airships providing aerial fire support? UAAAARGHH!!! KILL THE HERETICS! KILL THEM ALL!

Looks...interesting. What's with the Dr. Zaius cameo?

While I have to agree that it's a LITTLE over the top, I'll point out that the prologue of City of Towers has an airship providing fire support. By canon, House Lyrandar didn't specifically design aerial warships, but to me those look like entirely normal airships, which are presumably carrying maegwrights with wands. As CoT shows, it's a fragile and expensive platform to use, and six of them is an IMMENSE outlay of gold, but it doesn't seem impossible to me... just unlikely.

An aerial warship would presumably be armored, reinforced against abjuration magic, possibly carrying some sort of elemental weapon like the firestaff of the sulatar sled - these look like standard airships.

Uh, you mean the dwarf?
I think he means the Shifter in the back, who bears a striking resemblance to Dr. Z.

It looks like a Last War flashback, so in a big assault I wouldn't doubt it could happen.
Anyway, I can't wait.
Any way to pre-order them, whens the comic coming out, is it an online thing or a comic-book delivery?

Hey I know Keith word isn't law... but come on it is his setting. If he says Karnath used 6 airships to assult a city once they did.

Meh...

Looks to me like they've got pretty much every race represented in that group of heroes but Half-Orcs.

Half-Orcs never get any love :weep:
