Logos 10-12-05, 11:57 AM	hey all, I'm running an Evil Eberron Game ( not just an evil party but an evil game) and was looking for some Eberron specific Ideas,s responces ANY OF MY PLAYERS KEEP OUT FROM PADND Anyway i would also request that the flameing/evil is NPC group stay out, perhaps that more a problem on the regular boards (Which is why i stuck this in Eberron General). I'm not looking for a should i run this game, i'm looking for ideas to work with So far what i need to really decide is which organization i want them to work for ( the majority of the party is a grizzly CN-CE-NE). So far i've had them busted out of Dread Hold by a Man calling himself Merrix but would be about the right age to be his first son. He has a Scar and Crystal across his face and a greater mark of making ( He has 12 levels in artificer to boot) He's busted out the Pc's on his Stealth Airship with a band of Ninja's the leader of which has an aberrant dragonmark). Theirs also a Lyrander Pilot making it Go. So far the plan is to offer the Pc's equipement and the air ship in return for doing various deed for him. But i'm really looking for some insight into Merrix's motivation my ideas so far as run strongly two ways A puppet of the Dreaming Dark. Mind Seeds, taking over Merrix's son ( It's already been done somewhat in sharn) i've also the idea that perhaps Merrix is the one that mindseeded his son and he somehow tranfered his own mind as aposed to the mind of who seeded him. So you get merrix in his son's body (Co-oping with it maybe) either trying for revenge against the psionics, (Mixed with a helping of Law and order to disorderly House Cannith) or That this was their plan all along and now he is doing their bidding The Second Is the Aurum/Dragonmark Syndicate/Shadow Network Basically Dragonmarks are held to a certain degree of Neutrality and non-involvment so when they want to get something done. A few rouge members go and do what needs to be done. If everything goes well everyone is the richer and if it doesn't the houses disown the members.This being backed by the aurom and the shadow netwwrk as one big happy family ( works somehwat well as we already have a elvish bard with the mark of shadow ) the third choice is for all of the above Any suggestions/ Kewlness for my plans, I'm looking for something appropiately Noir and badass
chimpman 10-12-05, 12:28 PM	A third possibility might be that whatever looks like Merrix (or Merrix Jr.) is in fact not even human at all. It's one of the Lords of Dust masquerading as the son of Merrix as part of a nefarious plot it has just put into motion. What is the plot, you might ask? Why to start the Last War up again, of course.
Logos 10-13-05, 11:32 AM	I was kind of keeping away from the lords of dust and the other rajah's just becuase i find them hard to grasp what the hell they are. Their big bad evil dudes but are they cthulu elder evils or are they bigger badder rhakasha?s I dont know perhaps one day i will So far the idea is that Merrix/Jr was attempting to reconstruct a certain creation forge ( or the parts for one) to reproduce an experiment that took place on a certain day in Cyre don't know if he' s jsut willfully ignorant to the effects or if he's actually malicious but thats the general direction I'm taking it so far i guess a thread about evil really get's shut down when you make it clear you don't want an open fire Logos
