Has anyone or know of anyone that has taken to writing fan fiction based on the Eberron Campaign Setting book instead of mainly using it to play PnP games? Same question goes for most of the other settings really.

Since I'm still looking into some of the online groups playing games, I have enjoyed writing fan fiction in the past, usually so I can again later or so others can read and enjoyed reading the works of other. I would think tring to make your series of stories with made up characters (maybe getting some input from others on characters) based on the DnD rules and campaign settings might be interesting to read and see.

So have people done this before? Has it turned out well?(would assume that fan fiction can either be good or bad even though a lot of work or thought go into it). Thanks.

Effect, my man, look no further than the Korranberg Chronicle (http://keen.datavortex.net/). We are all about Eberron fan fiction. We do make it a point to review a writer's work before asking him to join the team, but keep in mind that we don't pay people, so we rarely turn people away. More often we work with you to produce the best quality product we can, its very much a community effort. My email is erhagan@gmail.com. If you send me a piece of writing I'll be glad to look at it, but your best bet is to contact Pallis, he's the EIC. Hope this helps.

Thanks you two. I'll check out the sites and the work there. Waiting for my book to come, which should be a few days then I can try my hand at something small to start off with.
