| tags_d&d10-21-04, 04:35 AM | What do we have to do to get WoC to put out an Eberron GM Screen (there are enough new tables) or even an addition to the current screen? Put out in an up comming book? |
| polt10-21-04, 10:07 AM | It would be awesome. But don't put in the usual tables! I especially want to see tables on travelling time between different areas and cities, using different methods (by foot, horse, airship, lightning rail and so forth). Also Prize tables on other eberron stuff would be awesome, and maybe a small schema over the houses and their areas of ekspertise. Oh and please don't make it as small as the latest (special edition i think), its waaay to short! I kinda like the Forgotton Realms thingie, but it would be awesome with an eberron specific screen. |
| tags_d&d10-21-04, 03:54 PM | It would REALLY help those of us who would like to NOT have to put bookmarks all throughout ECS............ And I like the travel times idea. |
| Save-vs-DM10-21-04, 04:14 PM | Hmm. This gives me an idea. Maybe I'll make a dm screen in acrobat format and then post it here, so folks can print it out on cardstock and assemble it themselves - but what to put on the artwork side? If I do this, I'll need more suggestions on what folks want for info. Cheers, Save vs DM |
| polt10-21-04, 04:21 PM | I really want the travel times and prize-tables, it would be awesome, those edfently need to be on! Also the houses and what they do. And maybe a list over all the Regions, just if people forget? Or maybe even a mini map of Khovaire (or the whole world?) on one of the sites? I mean there are like what? 5? A map could be usefull. |
| Ithamar10-21-04, 04:51 PM | If you make a DM screen, that would be great! I have so many little post-it notes tabbing different pages in my ECS it is getting ridiculous. |
| BuddyL3310-21-04, 04:52 PM | I think this something that could be inserted into an issue of Dragon, much like the 3.5 D&D screen was. Perhaps if you can come up with a solid product you could submit it to the magazine. |
| MarkB10-21-04, 06:22 PM | Hmm. This gives me an idea. Maybe I'll make a dm screen in acrobat format and then post it here, so folks can print it out on cardstock and assemble it themselves - but what to put on the artwork side? I'd suggest that long montage of artwork from a couple of pages into the ECS - the one the cover images are based off - but it looks like it'd be very difficult to get a decent scan of it without disassembling the book. If you could, somehow, it'd be perfect for the middle two panels. For the rest, maybe choose a couple of those comic-book-like chapter-opening panels - the 'Organisations' one, of an Emerald Claw ambush, and the 'Magic Items' one, of a battle involving bound-elemental items, are particularly nice. As for content, I'd suggest including the Dragonmarks table from page 63 for a start. |
| billseurer10-21-04, 06:53 PM | but what to put on the artwork side? Put the full map of the continent. One with useful info on it that is. |
| billseurer10-21-04, 06:58 PM | By the way, the best GM screen I ever had left the player side blank but put some sheet protectors there. That way I could slip in maps or whatever I wanted to. |
| polt10-22-04, 01:50 AM | Well, you can do that even if there is some art. |
| Dhakaani Heir10-22-04, 05:51 AM | No need for Scans The Art from the Eberron Campaign setting (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/eb/20040618a) |
| Bubba33310-22-04, 07:17 AM | What about a killer DM sceen packaged with a well-made and marked map? Who'd buy that besides me? |
| MrFilthyIke10-22-04, 08:16 AM | This gives me an idea. Maybe I'll make a dm screen in acrobat format and then post it here, so folks can print it out on cardstock and assemble it themselves - but what to put on the artwork side? Please do, I'll pinch that for sure. :) |
| tags_d&d10-24-04, 02:41 AM | Ok so the next question is: How many pages should it be??? the current standard one is 3, but they aren't full sized (and ECS has any awful lot of info we need to know)!!!! btw: if you need any help puting together the PDF let me know the more ppl helping the faster it goes.
