I am just putting together a group of players to start an Eberron campign (Leeds, UK if anyone is interested) and I need to find a short description of the Eberron setting to put the players in the mood. Nothing too detailed, a single side of A4 should do it.

Does anyone have any idea where I may find something like that?

Cheers....

Well, you could copy and paste some key passages from the lengthy Why You Should Buy Eberron (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=345851) thread. It sums up a lot of difference between Eberron and other settings.

I have a required reading list. It includes: The 10 Things You Need to Know on page 8 of the ECS, the racial section for at least the race being played, The Region of Origin section on page 24, perhaps the specific pages for whatever nation the player is from, and the Action Point rules on page 45.

I wrote an Eberron Basics (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/m.blunden/dnd/eberron.htm) document for my players when I started DMing Eberron for them. There are others on the forum who have written somewhat better Eberron Primers, which should be findable via Search, but that one might be enough to get you started.

Just show them the list of suggested movies at the start of the book, like The Mummy, Pirates of the Carribean, Indiana Jones, and I'd add League of Extraordinary Gentlemen to the list.

If you can get the novel 'City of Towers', there is an intro to Eberron Appendix which i think is really good. Better than Accross Eberron, 10 things you need to know etc.

I haven't read the intros posted on these lists thoguh.
