| Solmyr07-08-04, 05:50 AM | Just curious, will there be an Eberron mailing list like there are for the other settings? |
| WotC_Mel07-08-04, 02:12 PM | There currently is not, however if there is enough interest expressed here, I can probably have one created. -Melanie community Manager |
| Moonlion07-08-04, 02:22 PM | Yes, please! :) |
| Solmyr07-09-04, 03:25 AM | I would like one, I prefer getting e-mails since I don't always have time to come to the boards. :) |
| ChronosCrow07-09-04, 03:36 AM | I think it would be rather beneficial too. |
| Saurenda07-09-04, 05:11 AM | Please do the instant Wisphers of the Vampire's blade comes out I want to know. =D |
| freebrainzero07-10-04, 02:41 AM | Originally posted by WotC_Mel There currently is not, however if there is enough interest expressed here, I can probably have one created. -Melanie community Manager If this is a way to express interest then I guess I'm expressing some interest. What I need in life is yet more e-mail. It gives me something to complain about. :) |
| Myriddian07-10-04, 04:31 AM | I'm interested. :bounce: |
| Roger Nicholls07-10-04, 02:46 PM | Count me in as well. I always find mailing lists very useful for fast responses to questions...:D |
| simon brumat07-10-04, 03:42 PM | Yupp:thumbsup: |
| smrtgmp07-11-04, 07:30 AM | count me in |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast07-11-04, 08:56 AM | I'd love to see an Eberron mailing list too :) |
| JohnCJ07-11-04, 11:55 AM | At the risk of denying Keith Baker the last vestiges of an actual life, I'd like to have an Eberron-L as well. |
| Starkad07-12-04, 01:45 PM | Yes, please! |
| sh007-12-04, 02:00 PM | An Eberron mailing list would be wonderful, however, I wouldn't expect Keith to respond to questions on that list as well. I'm sure his time is pretty well spent for the near future. |
| Beavisfett07-12-04, 04:14 PM | Hello count me in. |
| ghost_warlock07-12-04, 04:17 PM | Count me in. |
| ChrisTheS07-13-04, 01:17 AM | Well, I'm already on mailing lists for Blue Planet and Dragonstar... why not add another mailing list for a game I won't actually play because my gamers are in a Realms-rut? |
| nightchilde-207-13-04, 10:16 AM | I haven't heard anything about one being created, so I went ahead and created an Eberron mailing list. Looking forward to getting some good Eberron discussions going. You can subscribe by sending an email to: eberron-subscribe@nightchilde.net or visiting http://nightchilde.net/mailman/listinfo/eberron_nightchilde.net If something official is up and running or whatever, let me know. I'm just doin' my part to help out, man!!! :D |
| garrick07-13-04, 12:29 PM | I'll sign up. |
| WotC_Mel07-21-04, 03:00 PM | Allrighty folks, you can subscribe to the newly minted Eberron mailing list by sending an email to listserv@oracle.wizards.com with subscribe Eberron-L in the body of the email. The link to it off the lists page will be put up by tomorrow. -Melanie |
| reveal07-21-04, 03:32 PM | I did exactly what your post stated and got the following back: Your message is being returned to you unprocessed because it looks like a LISTSERV command, rather than material intended for distribution to the members of the EBERRON-L list. Please note that LISTSERV commands must ALWAYS be sent to the LISTSERV address; if it was indeed a command you were attempting to issue, please send it again to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM for execution. Otherwise, please accept our apologies and try to rewrite the message with a slightly different wording - for instance, change the first word of the message, enclose it in quotation marks, insert a line of dashes at the beginning of your message, etc. |
| WotC_Mel07-21-04, 04:06 PM | My apologies reveal, my list kungfu is weak from disuse. It should be listserv@oracle.wizards.com with the body saying Subscribe Eberron-L -Melanie, changing her previous post |
| Nightchill07-21-04, 04:47 PM | Just letting you all know that there's an Eberron yahoogroup (and has been for a while). It's pretty well used :) |
| Greyson07-21-04, 07:52 PM | Cool, thanks Mel for doing that. I signed up the minute I saw the "revised" e-mail you posted. Thanks again. |
| Myriddian07-22-04, 06:46 AM | Thank you Mel! |
| Roger Nicholls07-22-04, 02:34 PM | Ive signed up to the list and although ive received a confirmation mail as yet ive had no mail from the list. Any ideas ? Or is it simply nobody is using it yet ? |
| Moonlion07-22-04, 03:44 PM | There have been messages. The default setting for the list is Digest, apparently, because that's what it was set at for me. I believe the command to set it to get single messages is this: To: listserv@oracle.wizards.com Body: set eberron-L NoDigest I just issued these instructions but haven't yet heard back from the server. |
| Moonlion07-22-04, 03:56 PM | Heard back from the server -- that's the right command to issue. :) |
| Roger Nicholls07-22-04, 04:25 PM | Thanks for the help ive now done this and it has worked ! |
