| Germund04-22-07, 06:17 PM | I am having trouble deciding the direction my Eberron campaign should take. (It is due to start in 6 mos to a year when our current campaign ends) I really like the idea of chasing down the schemas as presented in The Forgotten Forge, and Shadows of the Last War, and as apparently culminated in Grasp of the Emerald Claw. However, I do not want this story line interrupted by having the players running off after some sword. Does the Sword adventure have anything to do with the Schema plotline? Is it worth getting knowing that that is my focus? I would rather make up my own adventure to fill in the blank than have an irrelevant quest in the middle of my story line. I am not asking for any major parts of the story line to be given away, I just want to know if it is worth getting given the parameters of my story ark I am planning. Any help would be appreciated. |

Now, GotEC WILL be a smidge harder, so you might want to power it down or power the PC's up if you skip the middle adventure. Or of course, you might have those PC's that need a strong challenge ... like mine ... or is that just my poor DMing ... |

| AntiSean04-22-07, 09:47 PM | I used "Fallen Angel" and "Murder at Oakbridge" from Dungeon magazine in place of WotVB. I also ran a few session of in-between happenings related to some character background plot points, and I'm planning on running "Steel Shadows" from Dungeon before moving on to GotEC. I should water down "Steel Shadows" a bit, as the PCs are currently 5th level, but I'm on the fence about it, as they've been consistently able to handle encounters quite a bit above their level. Perhaps I just haven't been ruthless enough... |

| Germund04-23-07, 10:28 AM | Since the fourth schema is in the hands of the Emerald Claw (and I assume the purpose of the quest for the Emerald Claw module), I was planning on running my own adventure to try to find the third schema. But final plans will have to wait till I pick up the Emerald Claw module this week. |
