Eberron Primer for PCs? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I was wondering if anyone had put together a primer for their PCs?

You know, a paragraph or two on the countries, houses, dragonmarks etc. Just something to give them the idea of where they are etc.

Seriously, I gave that to my group of players, and they got it rather quickly.

07-05-04, 08:59 PM I'm currently typing up a primer for my players - but since they are starting as ex-soldiers from the Mournland, er Cyre - its pretty simple.

Still, at pretty simple, I'm already up to five pages.

I gave my pcs the same but I found it doesn't really cover what a resident of Khorvaire would know. I don't want them to read the whole book either as this would probably give too much away.

07-05-04, 10:56 PM I will be writing something up for my players once I get around to actually commiting to run a game (I will at some point soon... just not sure when!). I plan on canibalizing Dragonshards articles primarily.

07-06-04, 07:22 AM Since I won't be starting my new Eberron campaign until after school (Mid-September) starts I have plenty of time to do exactly as Dauntless is doing. The Dragonshards articles have excellent nuggets of background to use as teasers. It's always hard with a new world to try and give the players that certain feel without giving away too much.

What might be nice is if we could have a copy of the original one page submission (or whatever it may have turned into) that Keith used for the contest.
