As to Order of the Stick, I don't think I've known a D&D nerd who didn't like it, aside from those unaware of it's goodness.

09-05-06, 01:25 PM There are no sacred (hell)cows to Rich Burlew. Making fun of Eberron had to come eventually, and will probably crop up a few times more. I'm certainly looking forward to reading the next one. OotS is the best D&D web-comic there is (to me, at least).

Besides, "Eww, they've got a magic train!" is almost cliche by now. Rich knew (I strongly suspect) that people would recognise it as such, and laugh more about the characters using the oh-so-frequent, number-one-complaint against Eberron that crops up everywhere on the internet, rather than about the actual fact that there is the lightning rail in the campaign setting. So, I see it more as a joke at the internet/forum communities, rather than at the setting itself.
