Eberron Seasons [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-22-05, 02:38 PM Im creating a calendar using Excel and I am almost finished, all I need are the seasons each month relates to (Mid-winter, Summer etc) and I know what I want is in the ECS somewhere.
Unfortunately I dont have it with me at the moment, so could some kind gent post them for me, or even email them to me.

Edit and PS - If there any any Holidays mentioned in the ECS that I could include, please post them aswell (Including the ones in S:CoT).

The seasons - Zarantir is mid-winter, Olarune is late winter, Therendor is early spring, etc. 3 months a season. The holydays I have only in bulgarian language (for my game), so I'll leave them for someone else.

Rhaan = early fall
Sypheros = mid-fall

Zarantyr Mid-winter
Olarune Late winter
Therendor Early spring
Eyre Mid-spring
Dravago Late spring
Nymm Early summer
Lharvion Mid-summer
Barrakas Late summer
Rhaan Early autumn
Sypheros Mid-autumn
Aryth Late autumn
Vult Early winter

The only dates given in the ECS that I'd suspect are holidays/celebrations/remembrances are:

Thronehold: Aryth 11
Day of Mourning: Olarune 20

There's a number more in Sharn: City of Towers (that's the gaming supplement, not the novel). It does confirm the above two holidays, and lists several others, both religious and secular. Some are Sharn/Breland specific, but many are celebrated across Khorvaire.

02-24-05, 08:48 PM In Karrnath, the Mror Holds, and Lhazaar, I can see winter lasting from Sypheros to Eyre, with a sort of "winter lite" for the remaining months except summery Lharvion.

In Thrane, Aundair and what was Cyre, a more balanced 3-month-per-season thing would be going on. Spring and fall would actually be discernable as seasons.

In Breland, Zilargo, and Vaelnar, hot summers prevail from Therendor to Rhaan. Sypheros, Aryth, and Olarune are merely warm, with Vult actually being cool.
