I'm thinking about making up some monster tokens using the sheets from Dungeon, the counters from Fiery Dragon, whatever, and the washer technique described at http://www.aleatools.com/ and if I get really bored, I may order a set of their magnetic thingies as well.

The one thing I've realized is that I don't have any of the standard Eberron bad guys in a format suitable for tokenization.

Anyone have any advice on where I can find warforged, Emerald Claw warriors, and the like, in a format suitable to be punched out as a 1" circle? I looked over the pictures in the miniatures articles, but for tokens to be effective, it needs to be more of a close-up than a full body picture.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I've made lots of tokens using the pictures in the art galleries here on the WOTC site. I've also used pictures from Magic cards (online, not using the actual cards). You just need a rudimentary graphics program that lets you crop the pictures to just show the faces, and then make them the right size. I've used IrfanView (freeware graphics viewer) for the former, and then used Powerpoint for the latter (tip: Make each token as a circle or square, and use the cropped picture as a fill).

Thanks for the suggestions. As a non-Magic player, any advice on where I could find card art to review? I know the folks at my FLGS have got thousands of cards, but I'm not quite bored enough to flip through all of 'em. I'm willing to buy the cards and punch them; it's just a bit daunting to find what I'm looking for in the first place. Plus, I'd prefer color graphics, which rules out most of the Art Gallery stuff here.

The avatar graphics here at WotC are a bit small, and making a small graphic larger is never a good idea, especially when it was only 100 DPI in the first place.

I did find a few good warforged avatar graphics over at the Paizo forum - most of them are warforged heads from the Steel Shadows adventure. They're slightly small, but close enough that I can probably fake it.
