| Streamweaver04-29-05, 02:42 PM | I'm working on an Eberron Worldmap in Campaign Cartographer. It's still a work in progress but I'm not going to get back to it until next week and thought I'd post it in case anyone found it useful. You can find it here (http://www.flagonwiththedragon.com/eberron/maps.php). I'll updated the map next week and polish it more when I have some time. |
| Liane the Wayfarer04-29-05, 03:10 PM | Very nice! I may have to dust off my copy of CC2 and brush up on my skills. Are you using CC2 Pro, or the original version? Is CC2 Pro worth the money? |
| Streamweaver04-29-05, 03:13 PM | I'm using Pro. Honestly I haven't gotten into it enough to notice the differences yet (I had cc2 6.x before). Would be fantastic if the community were able to develop a nice library of maps DMs can use. The vector map of khorvair out now is fantastic but I can't edit it so it's usefulness is limited. |

I wonder if someone will map the map on a globe. That would be very cool to see! |

| Streamweaver05-01-05, 10:42 AM | Eberron is an interesting planet. I wonder if someone will map the map on a globe. That would be very cool to see! Not sure what you mean exactly by the globe. Did you mean a cutout that accounts for a sphere being flattened? Or did you mean the full globe? Once I get the world map in a finished (or 1st release anyway) state, which should be next week, I'll post some interesting info about if like area comparisons of the continents, some distance and other information like likely temperature boundaries due to distance from the equator. (An interesting topic if you assume no gulf stream warming in the world) Something interesting to note however is if Eberron is suppose to be the size of earth, apparently there is some space missing form the world map. I'll have to check the actual figures and such, but when I get time to collect then review and compare numbers it could be interesting. Anyway, I'm glad you found it useful and thanks for the comment. |
| Streamweaver05-02-05, 10:47 AM | Updated the world map I linked above. It's in a finished enough state for now that I'll leave it alone while I work on a map of Khorvair in CC2 Pro. Will post that when I have it in a useable format. I was able to determine some information from the world map I found useful for my own game and will post that write up later today in a seperate thread. |
