Anyone creative enough to try this?

Ideas:
* The Tiamat Galactic Empire (Dragonstar) attempts to take over the Siberys System (Eberron).

* The Union of Sol (Earth) places the Siberys System under its personal protection (for some reason, the Dragon Empire hasn't been able to take over the Stellar Ring: the Minbari and the Vorlons keep getting in the way!).

* The Union of Sol has the Minbari and the Vorlons as allies.

* The Timat Galactic Empire made allies of Void Corp and the Thuldan Empire.

* The Dreaming Dark does it's thing.

* However, the true threat to everyone is a race that is so ancient that everyone calls them the Shadows. They have no other name for them . . .

* PCs could be on Eberron one day, and in the next, on board a Whitestar fighting Shadow Battleships (THATS IF YOU HAVE A TELEPATH IN THE GAME!).

Why would you want to exactly?

That is exactly my thought ... I am trying to understand what is wanted to be done here and why ... what's the point?

The point is, it would be fun! Imagine it, an adventure where Eberron is invaded by an entire fleet of Dragon Imperial Capital Ships (commanded by a Chromatic Dragon). The PCs see a major battle between Eberronian Warforged vs. Dragonstar Warforged. And Dragonstar Warforged are packing particle beam weapons! Eberronian Warforged are packing magewrighted items that are like particle beam weapons (wands of lightning bolt anyone?).

The Inspired are being kidnapped by the Agents of the Shadows to be used as Weapon components. For after being fitted with Shadow cybertechnology, the Inspired bond with the Shadow battleships and the Quori become the software for the Shadow ships and the Inspired become unwitting pawns in an Interstellar War.

The point? I believe a campaign where Eberron is in the middle of an interstellar conflict would be fun.

Ok I suppose it could be, but keep in mind that the mindset around here is slanted towards the 'purist' side of the spectrum.

Also I think Eberron is deep enough as it is and has enough to explore without adding in other settings, much less 3.

I'm not saying it couldn't be fun, just that it seems rather jumbled, but hey if you can make it work for ya, hey more power to you. :whatsthis

The main setting would really be the Dragonstar setting. Everything else is just flavor.

And all shudder in fear as Pun-pun is unleashed!

Pun-Pun would be Shadow fodder. :schemes:

So would . . . <insert overly powerful FR character here>.

I actualy did something like this once in a game of mine. I took my PC's and had them abducted one night while in camp. The whole bright light from the sky thing and everything.

When they woke they were in a dragonstar space ship. The ship was a traveling gladiator show that would go from world to world on the frontier and capture various creatures and people and put them in gladiator fights that would take place on the ship's very own arena.

One of my players met them in the cages and was a Dragonstar created character that informed the other PC's of what happened and then helped them escape on his ship. From then on they were facinated with the Dragonstar world and we started using that for the setting insead.

It worked wonderfully and everyone had a blast. Especially once the barbarian learned about antimatter cannons :D
