| Siberys03-03-05, 12:31 PM | Feel Free to suggest new Acronyms/Terms. |
| Beleriphon03-03-05, 10:34 PM | I think Edy's entry needs to be changed to "Prodigious" message board poster. :D |
| Demon in Shades of Gray03-04-05, 01:24 AM | I appreciate this. I've been wondering what all the abbreviations mean. I had some theories, but it's nice to get confirmation. Thanks :D Now, help me with this one... BBEG what is? :( |
| KimHal03-04-05, 04:57 AM | It's Keith, not Kieth... :teach: |
| magicmarker1303-04-05, 07:39 AM | shucks, that is cute, edymnion is part of semiofficial eberron terminology... btw (which means by the way), dude... BBEG means big bad evil guy |
| Purple Yin03-04-05, 08:15 AM | or 'big bad end guy' if you run an evil campagn, and your enemy is a good guy. |
| James Silverleaf03-04-05, 08:38 AM | thx ( short for thanks) :D .. nice with a thread like this... i have been wondering about many of these things... |
| Griff_Goodbeard03-04-05, 09:02 AM | Not really Eberron related, but when I was new here I took me forver to find these out IIRC= If I Remember Correctly OTOH= On The Other Hand more comming :D |
| Siberys03-04-05, 12:38 PM | Oh, yeah, a-fixin keith (HOW COULD I SPELL HIS NAME WRONG? :weep: ) A lot of the things like "BBEG", "OTOH", and "IIRC" are on a terms thread on the D&D General boards. That's why I didn't include them. |
| Isran_Imrador03-05-05, 10:38 AM | K.C = Korranbarg Chronicle K.L = Korranberg Library |
| Siberys03-05-05, 03:05 PM | Thanks, Isran. Addin' that. Wouldn't it be great if this were stickied? ;) ;) ;) |
| Siberys03-05-05, 03:33 PM | Added Websites |
| DwarvinJedi03-06-05, 12:01 AM | Any General terms can be found here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=46916) |
| Siberys06-07-05, 06:24 PM | :bump: tee-hee! |
| Ponderosa06-07-05, 09:10 PM | I would add the phrase "wide-magic" to the glossary. It's not an acronym, but a term coined by Edymnion to describe the low-level, wide-spread magic in Eberron. |
| Elderich06-09-05, 01:05 AM | homoc, and ID |
| PsionicMonk06-09-05, 06:01 AM | Great, post, i think this needs a sticky (sticky = always at/near the top of the forums :D ) :bump: |
| Siberys06-09-05, 06:28 AM | I would add the phrase "wide-magic" to the glossary. It's not an acronym, but a term coined by Edymnion to describe the low-level, wide-spread magic in Eberron. Consider it done homoc, and ID Would you please Elaborate? I'm still getting a hang of the non-Eberron Acronyms (If these are), and I need to know what they are if they're Eberron. Many thanks, psionicmonk, I've been lobbying for a sticky myself... |
| Isran_Imrador06-09-05, 08:49 AM | Marked for Death = MfD The Crimson Talisman = (t)CT (scan ;) ) Five Nation could be = 5N |
| Elderich06-09-05, 11:28 AM | There are, apparently, many short forms for Homonculus, Homoc is just one. And ID is an Iron Defender, one of the new Homonculus in ECS. Sorry, i should have put this in the first post. |
| Saviente06-09-05, 02:54 PM | UMD = use magic device skill when talking about Artificers. Not on the general list either which probably should...It took me awhile, as a noob ;) to figure that one out :) Edit: Heres another one that I didn't see on the general list also that probably should PHB and XHB = expanded psionics handbook |
