encounter map for Trolanport [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-19-06, 12:44 AM Does anyone have a good battlemap or reference map for an encounter in Trolanport? I'm trying to find something with a canal.

11-19-06, 02:16 AM Well, no, but look up pitcures of Venice, and watch the first act of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Basic Layou for a Battle over a Bridge Over a Canal, 30 feet of Canal, with all of it being considered level 2 deep water. Bridge is about 10 or 15 foot wide, and has stairs on either side of dry land going 10 feet up, so those on the bridge have higher ground. Small boats line and move up and down the canal during the fights, moving at whatever speed you need them to move at (Recomended at least a dwarven stroll speed). These bridges would be set apart by every other street, or every three streets, depending on the neighborhood and traffic that the section of town would experince.
