I might be moving before I can complete the adventure The PCs will be starting the adventure at 7th and 8th level. Reading through Eyes of the Lich Queen, I get the impression that the only reason for going to Thronehold is to get the rest of the information regarding Jheamast's tomb. If that section of the journal isn't missing to begin with, could I feasibly skip the dreadhold section of the adventure without sacrificing the anything significant from the plot? I think it would help cut some of the fat from the adventure and help the players stick to the meat of the plot. Also, it would shorten the time it takes to get to the more challenging sections of the module. I'm curious what others think of this idea. Is there anything I'm overlooking? |

Though, I personally LOVE the Dreadhold section of the adventure (Tim Hitchcock wrote that part, and it's pretty killer-fun in play...I ran it for my group in Hawai'i before I left). Still if time is a factor, you gotta do what you gotta do. |

Despite the cool factor Dreadhold has to offer, it's overall contribution isn't much more than another way point along the path of the plot. Additionally, I'm trying to keep a focus on the dragon-themed elements of the adventure. |
