Epic level play in Eberron [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-30-04, 05:56 PM I've been reading a couple of threads and checking out some links on these boards, and it looks to me like Eberron is a really interesting setting. I was just wondering how epic levels are handled in Eberron. Is it similar to FR with loads of epic characters or are there next to none, making the player characters overpowered upon hitting lvl 21. I certainly hope for something in between......

05-30-04, 06:21 PM At the moment, there are no Epic level characters. (as Hellcow said on another thread, Eberron has no Elminster). The war killed em off.

Now, that said by the time your Pcs reach level 21 you can probaly reckin some NPCs have too- heck Rakshasas practically start 2/3 of the way there. Plus there's the whole Xoriat thing- quite a few epic level abberations on some of its infinite layers I should think;)

Still, all said and done, Eberron isn't really designed for Epic Level play at the moment.

The difference between epic FR and epic Eberron is that in Eberron you really are something special. You will be one of a kind, the most powerful in the region. You will have the ability to really change the face of Eberron.
