Since I can't seem to search the threads on this forum I was wondering if there is any info on epic progressions in the setting?

Then who, pray tell, will save the world from the daelkyr/rajahs/quori?

The general consensus be as it may, in truth Eberron is designed for all levels of play.

To make this whole thread ridiculous.

The general consensus is that Eberron was designed solely for epic play.

*pause*

Basically, the gameline has it that the PCs become high level at 13th level and Epic Levels means that they are the ONLY Epic level heroes on the planet. There's plenty of monsters still to fight but the Pcs will have no real peers.

The question had nothing to do with the "consensus" on epic-level play in Eberron.

In general, as with any other non-Eberron-specific material, the official rules apply. The epic progressions for PHB classes and those prestige classes that have published progressions apply in Eberron as well.

Unfortunately, no epic progressions have been published yet the artificer or the Eberron-specific prestige classes, but the guidelines in ELH are perfectly good for developing your own. At least one artificer epic progression has been proposed on these boards, but since there is no @#*!! search function operating, I can't quickly track that down for you.

I don't think there's been any discussion of Epic Progressions, that I've seen, however the Epic rules provide pretty clear cut rules for creating epic progressions, so it shouldn't be that hard.

The artificer honestly doesn't seem to benefit much from an epic progression, beyond simply gaining bonus epic feats. None of their abilities have a regular progression that would be carried over to epic levels. I think that means you give them a bonus epic feat every three levels, though I'd have to check the rules to be sure.

The prestige classes should be pretty easy to handle as well.

Ummm.. what consensus?

Whenever a topic like this comes up there are always responses pointing out that it is only really helpful NPCs who are low level and there is plenty for a high level party to do. Lord of Dust, Daelkyr, Rogue dragons, mad Deathless, ancient Dhakaani liches disturbed from their millenia long slumber, giants in Xen'Drik, Quori, Demons out of the wastes and from the depths of Khyber and horrors swarming out of the mournlands are just a few that immediately come to mind without refering to the source materials.

The list for high level, and even epic level, encounters is pretty long without breaking the spirit of the setting.

But to the original topic. Epic progression is simple enough. If you don't have the details for the class you want then simply encourage your players to examine the idea of multiclassing and prestige classes until something is published.

There probably is something on the forums somewhere but finding it is not exactly an easy thing.

Come on WoC, a search for a forum can't be that hard. Almost every other board on the web has a (at least partly) working search.

People who claim Eberron isn't for Epic play basically seem to hate the idea of Epic Play in general I've noticed...or at the very least question it's validity in many settings.

I wish people wouldn't be that closed minded, I mean, if you only ever play low levels, you miss out on all that the game has to offer at higher levels.

My Eberron is epic... if you want a low level Eberron, then fine... to each their own...

honestly i dont see anything wrong with it

but to the question at hand

Yes there was someone who did a epic progression for the eberron classes, but I don't know where it is. Try useing google to search for it, you may be able to find it here or at some other forum.
