| rubenlinde06-21-04, 12:24 PM | So when is the first errata due ? couldn't find many glitches exept that King Boranel (of Breland) Has 3 aristocrat levels on page 142 but 2 on 144 (both list hem as a fighter level 8). Also the language gnomes speak seems to be missing on page 47 Was wondering if anybody else spotted some errors ? |
| snowstorm06-21-04, 01:07 PM | The warforged pres. class character has a "swordbond". This is probably the first name for the armblade, but it opens a great deal of questions about the item. |
| MonkeyIdol06-21-04, 03:26 PM | the artificer starting package has the feat 'magical affinity', i have no idea what that is. |
| fourmyle06-21-04, 03:59 PM | There is also a mention Vvaraak as a green dragon I caught once, whereas she was actually a black dragon. There is an Heir of Syberis NPC with only 7 levels in another class (you'd need 12). There are a couple other little things I noticed that I can't remember, but all of them are just really minor editting errors. |
| Galen_Michael06-21-04, 05:42 PM | Originally posted by MonkeyIdol the artificer starting package has the feat 'magical affinity', i have no idea what that is. I would assume this is Magical Aptitude (+2 on Spellcraft and Use Magic Device) from the PHB. Makes a lot of sense for an Artificer. Galen |

I think youre reffering to the discusion about the juggernaut pres.class (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=258504) right ?. It might be a good idea to put all the errata in one list so that WotC can actually do something with it. But we would have to do that by page number so please attacht the page number to your post about an error in the book. I wil than make a list of it in the first post. Ther also seems to be an error in the sharrash, talenta on page 119-120 (thanx warok ) people might want to read (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?threadid=260016) into that. |
| Tainted One06-22-04, 09:56 PM | This isn't the only errata we need. No book published since 3.5 has been fixed and even some older books (savage speices, every FR book, etc) haven't been fixed. Take a look at CW, CD XPH, and Players guide to faerun. these books are in desperate need of errata/ |
| rubenlinde06-28-04, 12:41 PM | I think it would be a good thing to colect most/all of those errors mail them to wizards and ask them if they would finally do somthing about it. |
| GadoTheLion06-28-04, 12:48 PM | Nothing to see here stupid post i had to edit. |
| FireLance06-28-04, 11:11 PM | One error I noted is that the errata for the 3.5e Monster Manual changed the size of the Deinonychus (Carver) from Large to Medium. This means that a Carver is no longer a suitable mount for a medium-sized character, as stated in p. 123 of the ECS. |
| Romero Dominae06-29-04, 06:27 PM | In "the Forgotten Forge," the included mini-adventure, there's a warforged rogue 2 with the feat Mithril Body. Mithril Body gives a -2 armor check penalty, but his relevant rogue skills, on p. 312, do not reflect the -2 penalty to Balance, Climb, Hide, and Move Silently. Also, on page 311, it's assumed that he's taking 10 on his hide check, so the DC to Spot him should be 16 instead of 18. I suppose you could give him some circumstance modifier (say a mass of piping) that is in the way and gives him a +2 if you want to stick with the original DC. A 16 is awfully easy to spot a decent rogue, I suppose. |
| Saurenda06-30-04, 03:01 AM | IF he were a decent rouge he'd have a name? I for all intents and purproses named him razor for the two seconds he was still alive. I magic missled his final messenger and it still got away even though I am an evocator specialist. ARGH |
| Arisen Phoenix06-30-04, 03:58 AM | In the Goods and Services section, it says the Lightning Rail goes 30mph. In the Dragonshard Items section, it says it goes 25mph. Despite several references to prospecting for Dragonshards, there is no listing for the price of a raw Dragonshard of any variety. The closest is 30GP for an Eberron Spellshard, but it would seem Khyber and Siberys shards are more expensive. Also, I imagine they come in different sizes. Any shard requirements for the various Dragonshard items are omitted. Clarification should be made that the Lightning Rail does not currently run over the lines through Cyre. The map shows them, and shows them as continuous through Breland, Talenta, and Karrnath. (In fact, restoring this line could be quite an adventure on its own...) Similarly, no mention is made of a Lightning Rail between Vedykar (or Fort Zombie) and Rekkenmark, though the map shows a contiguous line. Conductor Stones are listed as Wondrous Items, but no price is given, nor are creation requirements stated. Is this because they are minor Artifacts, or did someone miss something? |

| Arisen Phoenix06-30-04, 11:43 PM | Rail lines and roads are shown on the individual kingdom maps in the ECSB. The map key is on the page previous to the Khorvaire continent map. Descriptions of rail destinations, as well as transportation conditions, are given in the Life and Society section of each kingdom. |

Cool..thanks, I'll have to re-read those sections. |
| Ath'kethin07-01-04, 08:12 AM | There is no "Languages" line in the entries for Droaam or the Eldeen Reaches. Not a huge deal, but useful when determining your bonus languages when your character is from a given area. |
| glenw7707-01-04, 05:24 PM | Send in your Erratas for better results (hopefully) If you download the PHB Errata, at the end is info to contact WotC with an Errata. To summarize: subject line "Errata" followed by the book and page number, with the erratta question in the body of the message to custserv@wizards.com I once wrote in about how they wrote Leomond's Tiny Shelter wrong (they have it as a 20ft radius when they obvioiusly mean diameter based on the spell description.) and they even replied. |
| Arisen Phoenix07-02-04, 12:06 AM | Thrane has no entry for Lightning Rail routes - the Life and Society section is taken up by silly Flamer stuff ;) But the other kingdoms with rail routes do have that information, so you can guestimate... |
| rubenlinde07-09-04, 02:59 PM | On page 21 of CD they refer to page xx (it is suposed to lead te Pyremius ) |
| Xaxor07-09-04, 08:03 PM | The example Heir of Syberis is short a skill. He only has Intimidate +15, Listen +11 and Spot +11. Spot or listen should be at least 15 ranks. |
| MavrickWeirdo07-10-04, 01:29 AM | Page 97 Mabar is remote for a period of five autumn days once every five years, around the full moon nearest the summer solstice, page 181 King Kaius I ordered the destruction of the great White Arch Bridge page 183 those links were severed with the destruction of Cyre and the collapse of the Golden Arch Bridge Just a couple |
| raverbane07-12-04, 08:14 PM | On the table shown on 49 of the Eberron book. The Exceptional Artisan, Extraordinary Artisan and Legendary Artisan all have a #2 footnote desigantion next to them. At the bottom of the page says ' 2 You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects stack '. Uhm... Is this an error? Or can I take Legendary Artisan four times and never spend XP's on items I made again? |
| JustKim07-12-04, 08:52 PM | That's an error. The official explanation is that the three feats work together to give you a 25% discount on GP, XP and crafting time if you take the maximum three. So technically, they don't stack in any unusual way and the designation is wrong. |
| Arianna Greenleaf07-15-04, 02:59 AM | Weretouched Master Pages 86-87 The description of Alternate Form (bottom-right of page 86) says you are suppose to "add the animal's ability adjustments" to his scores. In the case of the Bear Animal, (shown in the table on top of page 87), these adjustments would be: Str +16, Dex +2, Con +8. Gwentan's stat block says Str 16, Dex 16, Con 14, which should become Str 32, Dex 18, Con 22 when shifting into Alternate Form of the Bear. (He is 5th level in this prestige class, and thus, should have "alternate form.") However, the "rage" and "shifting" parts of Gwentan's description (right side of page 87) do not remotely match this. It doesn't even list Dex. It appears as though "alternate form" isn't even listed in Gwentan's example. |
| Bocklin07-15-04, 04:30 AM | Post suppressed because I was talking non-sense. ;) |
| Medesha07-15-04, 10:47 AM | There are quite a lot of stat errors in The Forgotten Forge (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=276011) (Cutter also does not have an ACP; the skills are done incorrectly for the Shifters, as well as their attack bonuses; Saber's AC is incorrect). |
| billseurer07-16-04, 04:44 PM | In different parts of the books the elementals used for different conveyances are listed differently. I don't have my book handy but you can check the locations in the index (which is how I noticed this) and just go to each one in turn. For instance, the airships are said to use air or fire elementals in one place but only fire elementals in another. The ocean vessels are listed as water elementals in one place and air elementals in another. I think someone else mentioned the difference in speeds in different parts of the book. |
| StarminerJim07-19-04, 09:10 PM | I'm not noticing an errata so much as pp127-144 are missing in my book and pp177-192 are doubled up... I love the book and don't really want to return it, but I wouldn't mind getting the missing pages in some kind of pdf or something for this section (geography I presume)... :) |
| Lord Zeb07-19-04, 09:17 PM | Don't return it, but do go back to the store and exchange it for a copy that's not missing pages. You'll enjoy your copy a lot more! |
| StarminerJim07-19-04, 10:01 PM | I would have to go back through Amazon.com because none of my FLGSs carry it on the shelf... |
