When can we expect to see Erratas for MoE & RoE?

More than two weeks after they come out, that's for sure.

Most errattas (when they appear) seem to show up around two to three months after the realease.

So it may be about time for ROE, but unfortunately it'll be a while before we see anything for MOE. Never mind the 5N and ExPH books.

And remember; not all books even recieve an erratta.

Errata only fixes crunch, not fluff. FN and EH had hardly any crunch, so its entirely possible that they don't require any errata. The same goes for RoE, its very possible that there were no crunch errors in that book, thus not needing errata. I asked KB about fluff errata a while ago, however.

Q: Hey Keith, is there any chance that we'll ever be getting a listing of fixes to the fluff of Eberron errata-style on this site? I think that the problems with the fluffy parts of the sourcebooks are infinately more annoying than the problems with the crunch, yet it never seems to be fixed like how the errata fixes the crunch.

A: If you mean from an official source - like the rules errata - I have no idea. I'm not a WotC employee, after all. I'd raise the issue with WotC customer service.

:pbbbtt: stupid WotC

Indeed. I doubt we'll get any Erratas for any of the new Eberron sourcebooks. As was said above, I don't think I remember any crunch messups, only fluff ones, and I don't remember any errata ever being released to fix fluff. It's supposed to the be the writers job not to mess up the fluff.

Keith Baker is overworked and we can't really ask anything more from him...

On to Ask Bill Slavicsek!!! :fight!:

I never thought I'd say something like this...
Power Link needs an errata nerfbat. I'm a big fan of the DM being responsible for maintaining balance (I'm an old Palladium player....), but this little item is a bit much... find me an item, for 3000gp, that boosts a spellcaster's CL by 2, and I won't complain. Yes, it will get nerfed IMG, but I dislike houserules.

Indeed. So there are some crunch things that need errata (I wouldn't really know about RoE, I read the book once, barely, and never picked it up again). Still, we're screwed on getting any of the fluff fixed, I reckon.

Looks like if we want fluff fixes we need to flood customer service's mailbox with letters.

Hmmm, well:
- Some of the warforged body feats seem to not know too well what they do and don't count as towards armor.
- The Atavist in the adaptation portion of the class says something about adapting it for spellcaster levels instead of manifester. It doesn't give manifester levels.
- A few of the substitution levels have errors in their charts. Additionally, kalastar soulknives are apparently the only substitution class that has a lower hitdie then the actual class.

From Magic of Eberron off the top of my head:
- Some features of the psionic artificer work weird compared to the regular one. For example, psicrowns have power point reserves, so how does that work with the spelltrigger? How do you do metapsionic feats to Infusions when they have no power point cost, and psionificers normally aren't psionically focused?

Are we to assume that psionificers have to take the Wild Talent feat (I think that's it) in addition to the metapsionic feats, and pay more per blast in a dorje?

Additionally, they get Craft Astral Cosntruct, but Craft Construct is still on their feat list. And how exactly do they build a homuncullus wihtout spells?

- The Breed's symbiot writeup seems to cause soem confusion with folks.

- Is it just me or is Dorje Mastery a lot better then Wand Mastery?

- Is impact armor considered msterwork already, or can I spend the extra gp on it to make it so?

- The aformentioned power link issues.

Ummm, that's off the top of my head. And stuff.
