Essence Node of Blindness? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I have just taken my players through the adventure, "shadows of the last war" and came across an essence node of blindness. Anybody know where I can find information about this? I looked everywhere, but no luck. It is on page 30, in room W16. I beleive it is some sort of warforged component, but I cannot find it anywhere. Help?

07-03-05, 01:37 AM Check the errata, they ended up changing it to something else. I can't remember what at this point... I think a node of the scout...

07-03-05, 08:05 AM I think the idea is that it gives a warforged the Blinding ability on his armour, similar to the blinding shield ability.

This was left out of the ECS because Keith wrote the adventure before the ECS itself was finalised.

Also note this adventure was written before they decided on the no-healing rule in the mournlands, so some of the enemies might be a tad too tough.
Also Also note there's a improperly coloured lock in the room descriptions. Refer to the diagram of the lock for better details.
