I don't mean The Book of Exalted, but rather White Wolf's Exalted game, a fantasy setting involving the Exalted, a kind of superhuman demigod-like beings divided into various "clans"... Like the feral Lunars, the powerful Solars, the imperial Dragonblooded, the necromantic Abyssals..

...Anyways, something I considered was that with an emphasis on low-level NPCs and a world design based on "blending all sorts of cool stuff together" like Exalted's own world, Eberron would be a good setting to form an Exalted-type campaign in.

It takes a little conversion, but I managed to do it for a short game. Nothing concrete on paper, but it was fun.

funny, I just bought Exalted, and it did seem to be a very Eberronish game, it even had rules for nameless Extra minions, it would be a great thing for Inspiration, the Dragonblooded could easily by the inspired, and the Wyld hunt could be the Dreaming dark, and the Solars/Lunars/Fair folk/what have you could be the PCs.

EDIT: The reason I chose Sarlona was because the Rise of the Dragonblooded into the rule of them realm was almost exact in Eberron, Both were 'divine saviors agent the Arcane/Solar menace, and both have an inqusition against rogue psions/Exalts in the realm/Sarlona, I couldn't find any other paralellels,

Well, what do you mean by "Exalted-type campaign"? They're similar because they're both drawing on the pulp adventure stories of the 30's and 40's, but different because they're emphasising different genres.

Exalted is very much in the Sword & Sorcery genre. Howard, Moorcock, Leiber, that end of things. Low tech in the ruins of a fallen golden age, creepy and unknowable supernatural menaces that none the less die when you hit them enough, focus on the virtues that drive you and the flaws that bring you low.

Eberron is more a mix of genres with a D&D coat of paint, but heavier in the standard pulp adventure line. You've got mad scientists and their doomsday devices, shadowy intrigue and conspiracies, lost world exploration, dashing two-fisted heroes, frontier hardships, and a lot of other story types. Most notibly not including Sword & Sorcery as one of the major influances.

So what is it you want? Both do what they want to do very well, but they each do their own thing. What crossover effect are you looking for?

I was thinking of high-powered heroes and villains in cinematic-style combat, actually..

Well, why do you need an "Exalted-style" campaign then?
I think of the Evil Mastermind Plot in the DM-Part of the ECS...
It's already there.

So make Eberron to do that. Start the PC's off around 6th level, 9th if you want really high scale. Use Uneathed Arcana to increase the number of things that Action Points do. Emulate feats, extra attacks, spell penetration. Then whenever someone tries something really cool, hand out a temporary Action Points that only last until the end of the combat. After that, it's all about DM description of events and players getting into the spirit.
