| Paranoia83312-03-06, 06:25 PM | I've been given a chance to run the official mission packs, hopefully to their conclusion this time and aside from numerous alterations to the plot/encounters to make them cooler, I got to thinking about what I'd do if/when I got through the full run and figured I'd ask some of you guys for inspiration. *SPOILER WARNING! THE ENTIRE POST PAST THIS POINT CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR GRASP OF THE EMERALD CLAW AND LIKELY THE OTHER MISSION PACKS TOO. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!* The main thing I've been mulling over in my head is what exactly it is Merrix wants with Zulo/the Pattern. I've got a few vague theories I may run with, but the thing is, I kind of want it to turn out that Merrix is being manipulated by the Dreaming Dark into gathering the schema (I'm already laying the seeds for that into my outline of WotVB) probably in the hope that Merrix's actions will eventually restart the Last War, but since I haven't exactly figured out what Merrix is actually going to do... I mean, some sort of eldritch superweapon would be the obvious choice, but that seems a little too obvious, unsubtle and cheap for Merrix. So can any of you think of anything good? I'll add more to this if I come up with anything but otherwise I'm all ears. Fill me with your cosmic wisdom oh forumites! |

But not just a warforged, but a flesh warforged (my image is like a terminator cyborg). The Xulo pattern he thinks will help with transfering an already living soul or spirit into the body. But he still needs another pattern that will allow him to create the fleshy warforged... |
