Obviously, I'm putting it in Karnath. I thought this before I even opened the book, and the book agrees with me. Now, I don't want to use the provided 'eberron tie-in plot' with an Emerald Claw taskforce, but I have used Demise (renamed to Demisi) as a villain (or at least antagonist) in a couple previous adventures and I thought this a good opportunity to bring her in again. Now what I can't decide is where I should have the first encounter be. I considered, this being Eberron, giving the PC's a bit of a twist by having her in the town, helping to keep the survivors of the town alive by using her own undead and necromatic powers. The villagers consider her a saviour, but the paladin and the PCs should probably question her motives (which, in this case, were simply the villagers were more useful alive than dead at the moment). Or should I have them run into them out in the wilds of Barovia, doing something nefarious? You, Eberron board, shall be my advisors. COME FORTH!
