The module spends almost all of its time on the Planes, and they are the most directly incompatible portion of Eberron with more generic settings. An added complication is that 'X in Eberron' entries for the various fiendish aspects suggest the demon lords are from different planes altogether (Baphomet and Malcanthet from Lamannia, Kostichie from Risia, pale night from Xoriat, and the rest from Shavarrath). One possible solution is that a demon is a demon is a demon, and the back plot relates to a pact between demons from across all the planes. The various parts of the Abyss visited can probably be different parts of the demon controlled zone of Shavarrath, but Sigil probably has to be a seperate demiplane or something. Lolth and the eponymous demonweb pits are the knottiest problem, as deities have no literal presence in Eberron, and the demonweb pits vary considerably from the descriptions of the planes in Eberron (perhaps she has a giant web covering multiple cubes in Shavarrath?). Perhaps Lolth is a rajah (the module only deals with an aspect, after all) and the demonweb parts of the adventure are in an enormous web filled cavern in Khyber? In any case, the first drow encounters should probably be replaced to give the adventure a more Eberron feel (Eberron drow don't worship spiders for starters), perhaps cultists of the dragon below with abberrant dragonmarks. |

However my good friend and current DM has thrown ideas at me all afternoon, to show how it could be done. The challenge for him was to see if it could be done. And he has done a bang up job so far. Replacing planes with Eberron locations and such. My insatiable curiosity leads me to seek the ideas of these boards for comparison. |
