I know the new series of "Expedition to [insert dungeon here]" adventures are to explore old favorites, updated to 3.5 edition. Castle Ravenloft, Undermountain, Castle Greyhawk, etc. Eberron is too young to have an "oldie dungeon" as yet.

But, if there was one in Eberron, what do you think it would be? What ruin or dungeon on that map would you like to see turned into a mega-adventure someday?

Some ideas?

Haka'torvhak sounds good to me. A half-fiend dragon? There's a BBEG for a dungeon crawl if ever there ever was one.

I was going to say "Expedition to the Lair of the Keeper," but I like the Ashtakala and Glowing Chasm ideas better.

But this being Eberron, I wonder if something more... innovative might be appropriate:

"Expedition to the Tomb of Taratai" where the party has to explore the dreams of a sleeping great wyrm dragon or something.

Oh, a psionic dungeon. That'd be fascinating.

For this theoretical Tomb of Taratai for be acceptable to the Eberron fan-community, it would also have to not solve anything with regards to the mystery of Taratai's fate. The tomb would have to be empty in the end, leaving you with only more questions.

Part of me wants to say Expedition to the Cyst (I think that is the name for the center of the Citadel of the Stained One), but part of me thinks that any thing capable of being published would not do the Dealkyr justice. On the other hand, I'd love to be part of the sick-o think tank that gets to come up with all the disturbing things that should go into a Daelkyr's lair.

Expedition to Whitehearth

That's the one I'd go with. First true Eberron-only module; plus, I want to see the rest of Whitehearth (not that I couldn't figure it myself - I'm going to make it the secret base of the LoBster for my campaign).

Shadows of the Last War may have well have been Expedition to Whitehearth. It's the same basic premise, a trip into the Mournland to delve a lost Cannith facility.

Yeah, but it DEFINITELY doesn't explore all of Whitehearth - IIRC, you never use the brown keys.

Isn't that like saying "Castle Ravenloft may well have been Expedition to Castle Ravenloft"?

So many good ones for so young a setting!!

I'd add "Expedition to Jhegesh Dol". If you've read "The Binding Stone", then you're familiar with this ancient Daelkyr stronghold. A very cool place, and think of the loot!!

Yeah, and let's avoid the novel crossovers. In that direction lies the FR.

any expedition involving the Daelkyr is gonna be awesome. So id go with the Expedition to the Cyst. Or a series of adventures that in their entirety sends the players on a massive quest to permanently rid the world of all Daelkyr... but in the end causes a re-opening of the connection to Xoriat... so the threat of the Daelkry is not permanently gone.

True, but a simple change of name fixes that. I wouldn't expect to see the same daelkyr stronghold. It was great inspiration, for me, as to what one might find in such a place. That villain they fought was great, as were all the spooky things along the way. Everything fit the theme of the stronghold very well.

Besides, as Sturm Jaeger pointed out, Geth already took the coolest loot!

I actually put Ex to Castle Ravenloft into Eberron, as per the suggestions... turns out that the game works REMARKABLY well in that context o.O Some things required tweaking, but... man. It's turning out to be a very involved game with lots and lots of delicious intruige. My players will hopefully be attempting to backstab each other near the end~
