08-21-05, 06:30 PM in this homunculous' s description it says that its master can communicate with another creature in a distance up to 1 mile... then it says that it can willingly move above this distance and still maintain the telepathic link... so, can its master still communicate with someone above the distance of 1 mile? if yes, why is it at first limited to only 1 mile?

08-21-05, 06:40 PM You've read the description wrong. The master of the messenger can converse with another through the messenger if it is within 1 mile. The expeditious messenger type of homunculus is willing to stray further then the other types of homunculi (sp?, even a word?) to do this. But only within a mile.

It basically means, you can only converse through the messenger with someone if they are within a mile.

08-21-05, 06:43 PM No, it says that a Messenger move away from a his wizard more than other kind of homunculus are usually willing to, that is 1 miles rather than the usual 1500 feet.

I think you're misinterpreting the text. It doesn't say the Expeditious Messenger can go further away than 1 mile, it says it can go further than "most others of its kind". This refers to the normal distance limitation for homunculi of 1,500 feet from their creator - less than 1/3 of a mile.
