Explorers' Handbook - the real release date? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-01-05, 10:17 PM Last week, I was told by WotC customer service that the release date for the Explorers' Handbook was tentatively this Friday, otherwise, later this month (August).
However, the main site states the book has just gone to the printer's and won't be out for another two months (October).
Has anyone heard when the actual release date is going to be?

That particular press release (www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/news/20050613a (http://)) was put out on June 13th, which would make August right on time for release. I'd assume August 24th until you hear for certain otherwise.
