Hello board!
I've been playing quite a few different characters now, and a thing I've come to realize is that the chars I've loved the most are often the extreme ones, often built on archetypes. They're easier for people to visualize and relate to, and easier for me to act.
For instance, the char I'm playing at the moment is a fighter/kensai, who started out as a relatively peaceful, crying "broken warrior"-type. But since he joined the Brelish crown, he has become more and more of a fascist, bullying others around and imposing his opinions on others at every opportunity. Also, praising king Boranel and constantly mistrusting everyone has become a habit for him. A complete a$hole, really. :)
But he's getting more fun to play with each session.

So, does anybody have some extreme, archetypical chars, or just ideas, they want to share?

In a future campaign I'm aiming for an aristocratic Mror dwarf fighter/wizard heir to Kundarak. essentially, he's going to a dragonmark house hitman. Mostly this would be Deneith or Thurani's job. But I just finished watching the Godfather, reading the Mror dwarf entry in PGE and reading the Long Halloween ( batman), yes I was busy that night... And I just could'nt take that image of a Dwarf wearing a gray cloak, clad black full plate shinning with blood red runes coming up to a rebellious scion saying '' You should not have gone against, never go against the houses'' and then scorching him with a lightning bolt out of my head... :D

Anyway, I'm rulling going to stretch the Cosa Nostra aspect of the dragonmarked houses.

OH The FUN it will be....

I had a lot of fun with an overtly racist right-wing paladin in a Greyhawk campaign where the GM said up front his interpretation of alignments would be non-standard. Played off a left-wing womanizing swashbuckler for a kind of Green Arrow/Green Lantern Hard Traveling Heroes meets Dirty Harry.

In Eberron, I have an urge to play the hobgoblin who wnats to collect enough power and influence to topple Lhesh Haruuc and take over Darguun. Today Darguun, tomorrow Khorvaire!

Or maybe an orc paladin, since you can't really do that in Greyhawk.
