| Sergikins06-24-07, 12:42 AM | ok, heres a question on page 15, the cold sun lizard folk who are not hostile mention the armaekrixner, a spear they gave in tribute. on page 19, they mention it again and a reward for returning it. but what if you don't return it? what is it? masterwork? magical? For now, I'm jsut making it masterwork, though i really think its at least +1 |

| The White Sorcerer06-24-07, 01:12 PM | How big is the reward? I'd make the spear a lot cheaper than that. |
| Nived06-24-07, 04:01 PM | The reward is an xp reward. If you hear about the spear then you managed to make some indifferent lizard folk friendly (or helpful) they tell you how the Black Scales at the temple beat them up and have been asking outragious tribute including their ancestral spear that is passed down father to son and is the sign of their tribes chief. if you return it to them you get an XP reward, the spear is not statted. Item of legacy could work out rather well, makes it incredibly important to the Dying Sun without it being that important tot he PCs. |

It's not "cool loot" for the PCs, it's a way of rewarding character interaction. If you must have game elements to make the spear more interesting, say it's a required material component for a ritual the tribe does on a regular basis. |
