09-16-05, 10:34 AM Cannith is great just because they have so much going on...they are easy to add in to any game. They are probably my favorite just because they have so many angles to play.

Thuranni just freaked my players out...they don't have the books, they only know what I tell them, so when they figured out that these wussy bards were actually spys and assassins, they loved it.

Kundarak is cool...miserly dwarves guarding banks and prisons.

09-16-05, 10:37 AM Ever since someone talked Ghallanda down as being boring, and I thought about how it wasn't, probably Ghallanda. Tharashk comes pretty close though!

I also love House Lyrandar and House Vadalis.

09-16-05, 02:18 PM My personal favorite is Medani. The concept of paranoid Half-Elves is so compelling for me. In the campaign I play in, since so little is documented about Medani, the DM and I get to make up near every detail from scratch, lots of great RP for my Medani abjurer/ inquisitive (wiz3/rog1). :D

Ghallanda and Vidalis are close seconds, I guess I like the less popular ones. ;)

In truth, House Lyrandar is my favorite. My reason? Airships. That's enough for the Final Fantasy fanatic in me.

The idea of commanding the winds and sailing (in the sea or in the AIR!) is too appealing to deny.

And, I was SO glad when airships turned out to be ships-that-fly and not zeppelins!

What might be most important of all, though, they managed to make half-elves cool! No more brooding, whiny, "I don't want this responsibility" Tanis clones. :) Instead, you have dashing, bold Windwright Captains!

My least favorite House is Slyth- oh, wait - wrong message board :)

I like Cannith, because I like Warforged. I'm working on getting my WF Artificer a Cannith Wizard sidekick. ;) Jorasco comes in a close second, just because I'm so incredibly happy that halflings are now completely and totally distanced from those moronic hobbits. :)

Least favorite? Whoever the Handlers are ... never have much use for animals in a game. I never take familiars or animal companions or mounts.
