In my sig you see Adamus. He just took leadership. I had an NPC follow the group for quite some time now, occasionally joining in and leaving ( a member of the church of the silver flame) he strayed from the path for a while and He took the Ex-Paladin (Zalas, also in sig) as cohort. His leadership score is....I can't remember but he gets some followers; I think 6...who? why?

Adamus has the Mark of Making and uses the Cannith forge to create items (He created his own Dragonbone-weave chainmail there) So I was thinking this:
Bodyguard: Human Warrior1
Cannith Tinker: Gnome Magewright1
Craftsman: Human Expert1
....and some more..but I don't usually hand out followers like such, but he wanted specifics, but he said I didn't have to, but I thought 6 level 1s? bah, I can do it. I was wondering if I could possible get some cool ideas that are unique to Eberron. I don't think he'd accept a changling, kalashtar or shifter...he has a shifter friend but...maybe. He might be reluctant to trust warforged also, you know, after doing the forgotten forge and Shadows of the last war. We will be playing Whispers of the Vampires Blade soon...

Just wanted a few cool motivations; that is all.

How about a few Iron Defenders that he can control with an amulet instead?

Or maybe one of the following?
Butler: Human Expert
Porter: Human Expert
Groom: Human Commoner

In my games the "followers" pretty perform vital duties for the entire group while they adventure. For a craftsman I can imagine him having 2 magewrights and an expert to work as a sort of "apprentice" task force. That would let him adventure while some of his projects are still being created.

If he has a creation forge, he'd better hire a spymaster or counter-spy - Cannith is bound to be interested in him!

A good adition to the party in the form of an NPC might be a UA "Spellcaster" or rather the NPC class Witch or Adept.

Such a character would be capable of making occasional potions and such for the group as well as give them advice in times of need, or perhaps a bit of lore to go on.

A half -orc or human female witch, or a human adept, half-orc shaman(who favors spells from the druid list if possible/clerical) might be nice.

An expert explorer who has done some recent work around Khorvaire.

A Chronciler who has recorded a great bit of detail and stories.

A half-elf writer who wants to become a novelist, documentary, or even as a contact for journalism to the gnomes of Zilgaro/Sivis.

An elf who seeks to explore deeper understandings of magic, or war and tries to prove himself to keep up with the party. Probably a Warrior if thats the correct NPC term, or go nuts and use fighter class, they seem similar enough with the bonus feats.

A servant of some darker power aiding the PCs till he is able to get them to free some sort of enemy from Kyhber perhaps just to prove that not only warforged are to be mistrusted.

A warforged mithral bodied ranger who seeks to adventure instead of hiding after deserting his troop.

hope some of these give you a little inpiration.

Oh! How about a telepath? Can't go wrong with a psion =D

Thank you for the ideas, he wil lbe appreciative..

BTW, Cannith already knows what he creates in his forge...Cannith owns it and he is a member of Cannith, hence he ahs the mark of making.

I like an adept and magewright. PLUS a commoner, two experts and a warrior.

ONE expert is a half-elf who writes for some paper in Sharn, he will try to follow him and stay out of the heat. (Idea from Saurenda)

The Warrior is a bodyguard. Alertness and Toughness Woot!

Commoner is an animal handler...that's it.

Expert is a human crafter.

Adept is a worshipper of the Silver Flame, with curative and protective spells prepared.

Magewright - Mending and Magecraft? 'nuff said. Mark of Making :D More Mending? I like :D

You like? He also has a great Ex-Paladin Cohort, great! Thanks for looking at the party and suggesting some spellcasters :D
