| Dryder07-17-04, 08:10 PM | This is especially for the Wizo's at WotC!!! Hi there! I live in germany and just received my copys of the module "Shadows of the Last War" and the latest Dungeon issue (#113). I was so excited about the module and the *BIG* Eberron Map, that I couldn't wait to lay my hands on the copys... But I was so dissappointed! The map doesn't show ANY city, streets, ways, ruins or what else! Why is that?! The FRCS had a cool map with almost everything on it! Do we have to spend even more money to get such a map (which should be included in every CS!)??? Than the module: The story is cool, but what do I get for about 9€(about 8$)??? Black and white art?! Hey, I pay less for the dungeon magazine and get full color maps, with cool interior art for every adventure included, and the magazine has about 98 pages - "Shadows of the last war" only about 32?! Why aren't there any colored maps or cool interior art????? Please, it would be great to get an answer from you, because I don't understand this! I thought with the new Eberron Setting modules like the first few (Sunless Citadel, forge of Fury, etc...) would be a thing of the past... I am sure there are a lot out there who think the same! With best regards, Tom, Biblis, Germany PS I love the Dungeon and Dragon Magazines (ok, I know they are from Paizo), and I love the Eberron CS-Book (with the art and the love you did this with) but why couldn't you finally start printing cool modules with color? I would rather pay some more money than get such a module again... Otherwise, keep up your good work!!! |

That was a big problem with FRCS DM's could put a town where they needed it they had to rely on existing towns for what they needed. This left no room to install modules and Original adventures from the Wizards website into their campains. So Eberron has a few points of intrest main cities and a few towns and villages, the rest is up to the DM. Happy Gaming. http://www.geocities.com/customsmiliesbyswordmaster/inthered.txt |
| WizO_Sith07-18-04, 01:08 AM | As has been pointed out above, we moderators are VERY far removed from the descision-making process at WotC (a lot of us aren't even on the same Continent as WotC HQ). The majority of the WotC folks who hang out here (other than us WizOs) are the design folks (when they're not being hounded off the boards by a few bad apples) - who also have little say on the business end of things If however, you have an issue with a WotC product or a suggestion or whatnot, I suggest trying the "Feedback" link in my .sig. Bearing the above in mind, this thread will be closed (There's nothing wrong with it, per se, it's just that these things always turn into rallying points for the aforementioned bad apples in the never-ending quest to have me and my co-workers tarred & feathered). *Click* |
