Spoiler alert. I'm talking about some of the treasure from the Forgotten Forge adventure, so anyone playing through the adventure may want to skip reading. On to the question.

Don't have my books with me, and I'm curious about somehting. My player's will probably be finishing Forgotten Forge tomorrow, and possibly starting Shadows of the Last War. A piece of treasure discoverered in the FF, specifically the old map found in the foundry beneath Dorasharn tower, is described as being inscribed with some weird symbols. The text then mentions the symbols and the map are to be explained in the SotLW. Now, I've read through SotLW some time ago, when I first got it. I dont have it with me at the moment, but I can't recall there being anything about that map in the module.

Am I just remembering incorrectly? If not, where exactly is the map explained?

Thanks!

Just recycling an older thread that had no replies to. Saving forum space, so to speak ;)

I believe the map is used to find Whiteharth. Once you figure out the maproom in Rose Quarry, I believe you are supposed to mark the location of Whitehearth on the old map.

My understanding after having read SotLW, the markings on the map correspond to the various Cannith facilities marked on the floor-map of the Cannith Refinery in Rose Quarry. The map must have stylized images of the statue depictions from the Refinery: Red Dragon, Red Lion, White Wolf, White Falcon, Black Knight, Black Griffon.

I'm actually in the process of starting a new Eberron campaign, in which I'll be running the Forgotten Forge, Queen of the Burning Eyes, and Shadows of the Last War. I'm working on a map handout for the players to get in the Foundry from the Forgotten Forge.

Tangent question: If "Queen of the Burning Eyes" a specifically Eberron adventure, and if so, where can one find it?

It is set in Sharn, to follow on the heels of Forgotten Forge before moving to Shadows of the Last War. It deals with a Cult of the Dragon Below.

It's in Dungeon #113. If I remember correctly, it's the first Eberron adventure. Some liked it, others didn't from reviews I've seen, but it's a fairly large urban/dungeon crawl involving a few different angles and showcasing some of the new aberrations from the ECS.

I think you can get the PDF download at paizopublishing.com. Or maybe somewhere else... ;)
