| The_Robot02-13-07, 09:53 PM | i know there have been several threads about this, but i can't locate them! sorry! can someone point me in the right direction, or just give me some general advice. i'm a fist time DM starting a campaign for a very large group of players (somewhere between 8 and 10!) i know there has been a lot of talk about some of the encounters...i know all about adjusting CR (or i'm getting the hang of it anyways). so, any adivce outside of that would be great! one thing, how would i run the beatle swarm in FF for like 9 people? lengthen the number of rounds they attack? thanks, and again sorry for bringing this up... |

No need to apologize when asking for help. That's what the community's for, even if a few forget it now and then. I'm sure you'll get some feedback here sooner or later; but you might try posting on the "What's a DM to Do?" Board under Gameplay Help. http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24 I think you'll fair better over there, judging from the forum's name. If I had more time I'd offer any advice I could, but I think there are many people more qualified than I on these boards, and the size of your game is definitely more ambitious than any I've ever attempted. Good luck. |
