| Uratoh10-11-06, 05:00 AM | I've had an NPC antagonist of the PCs in the shadows for awhile. the jist is, she's a Dolgaunt, Bard training, who needs to acquire and hold one piece of an artifact, so that a rival daelkyr's servants can't acquire it to free their master. She faced the PCs in battle, and through skill and magic, has met with them in Sharn, in her own home there...without them suspecting. She even acquired a piece they had already collected due to some critical fumbling. But then, the PCs made a deal with a minor demon, who spirited the piece away from her. Obviously her masters are displeased...but she;s not too blameable in this, and had done exceptionally thus far...my thoughts are, what are a well disguised and entrenched servant do, beyond harassing PCs, to re-garner favor? She's quite a manipulator and since they;ve vanished from her radar, she DOES have alife outside of chasing them. |

The more above all suspicions , the better. "Removing" someone that thretens a daelkyr plot ( say, a templar of the Silver Flame or a mind flayer who serves the "other daelkyr") could work too. That'w all I can think at the moment...I hope I have helped. |

After she establishes the cult they could use womb worms to make all the new born children half-daelkr which would be viewed as a major problem to the citizens. She could then use members of the cult to steal the children and raise them to become true servants of the daelkyr. The citizens could then call the adventurers back and she could then claim that she needed the piece of the artifact to stop these horriable events. If the party gives her the aritfact she can then have the cult stop the currption of newborns thus making her look like a hero in the eyes of the citizens and heros. If the heros decide not to give her the item and investigate the happenings themselves she can sick her new cult on them armed with symbiotes and other fun daelkyr enhancements. |

Pseudo-Natural Worgs do suck to fight ;) |
