6457890 08-09-05, 10:06 AM	I dont know if anyone has pictured this. A fire monolith (gargantuan elemental, Complete Arcane) using a slam attack against a medium-sized creature. Shouldnt there be a rule stating that if the creature has more than 3 size categories larger hits you with a physical attack(slam), you always fall prone unless you succed on a fortitude save or something. I consider unreal the fact that a humongus creature smacks me(old tiny me) and i take the attack and hardly move as a good sport. Just in case, this benefit only applies if the creature has more than 3 size categories and +10 strength over you. What do you think?

6457890 08-09-05, 11:40 AM	I have read it and thought bout it but it seems like some monsters dont need this feat to cause real damage. Maybe all gargantuan and colossal creaturesshould get it as a bonus feat?
makeshiftwings 08-09-05, 12:16 PM	Well, rather than describing this thing as actually hitting your fighter square in the chest over and over (which in real life would probably kill anyone in one punch), describe the fighter as weaving and dodging and only being hit by glancing blows most of the time. It's the same reason you describe getting hit by a greataxe as glancing blows most of the time instead of saying you actually have been hit square in the chest seven or eight times in the last few minutes.
