LazarusX 10-14-05, 01:17 AM	I used to have a link that had pretty much all Prestige Classes listed, with links to their stats. When I moved houses, however, my hard drive was damaged; and I lost that link to the strands of time. Would someone happen to know the link I am talking about? It was a huge listing of Prestige Classes, from all different campaign settings. I mean...the list was enormous. And each Prestige Class had its own link to the stats and specifics about the PrC. I would greatly appreciate anyone that could/would steer me in the correct path.

If I follow those links, does CrystalKeep have all the PrC's from all the "Complete" series?(Divine, Warrior, Adventurer's, etc) I remember the link that I had before brought up a white background page with just a simple listing(in hypertext) of all the PrC's. Then, when you clicked on the link, it basically showed word for word what was in the book. Does that sound like what Crystal Keep does? I'm sorry I'm asking for so much; but my connection speed is horrible tonight for some reason.

Tek 10-14-05, 02:28 AM	but they only go up to 2nd level abilities? Last time I checked, the PrCl from stuff like Complete Warrior and such are not SRD content (I could be wrong?) and thus a site you are describing is illegal.
Thwyvylyn 10-14-05, 02:41 AM	Remember alot of that stuff is in the Complete series which is Wizards trademarked. It's probable that the info they have is all they can legally include. Btw CrystalKeep has been around for quite awhile and they have yet to be shut down so I would think what they have posted is legal.

CrystalKeep is, I agree, but I think the OP was describing a site that had a full list of PrCl abilities and such, from 1st level to 10th and such, so basically, you didn't have to buy the book to use the classes.

LazarusX 10-14-05, 04:01 AM	Come to think about it now...yeah, that would be illegal. I could've sworn there was a site though that was allowed...or maybe I'm just tired and hallucinating at 4:00am. Oh well, just trying to find a good Rogue PrC for my wife. Only thing I've found that's even remotely close is Invisible Blade(but she doesn't like to use daggers) or Duelist. Eh, oh well...guess I'll just have to create my own. Thanks all for the assistance.

LazarusX 10-14-05, 07:57 AM	Changling Rogue, wants to be like an Everquest Rogue, heavily combat orientated but wants to have spell-like abilities(or innate). At first, she wanted to multiclass rogue/sorcerer and then take Dragon Disciple. However, after explaining the roleplaying ramifications of that, she decided to not buck the system too much the first time around. So basically, she wants to be the DPS machine for the group. She loves Magic Missile and other "boom boom magic" as she calls it. So, I'm trying to find the "perfect" PrC. I saw Daggerspell's in Complete Adventurer...but eh, I don't know. It's all my fault anyway. The first campaign setting she ever played in had to utilize Gestalt characters because we could only get 1 other person to play on a regular basis....and now she keeps bugging me about playing a second character or just letting her play Gestalt this time around too. I created a monster, lol. ;)
Edymnion 10-14-05, 12:47 PM	Ah, you see, the problem with the Rogue is that it is the most balanced class in the game, so its very difficult to make a PrC for it that is worth taking, that isn't just overwhelmingly cheesy. Let me see, I've got a Rogue/Fighter that is going to be taking a PrC from Races of Destiny. Its called something like the Thug, or the Brute, something like that. Essentially, its a Half-Orc only race in that book (but there is no reason for the racial restriction other than the fact they were trying to pimp a few particular races). Gets bonuses on Intimidate, and can scrounge up non-magical gear pretty much on demand without having to "steal" it. In fact, despite how much the rest of the book sucked, Races of Destiny did have some good PrC in it, so thats a place you could check. Just drop the racial pre-reqs on the things, as there's no reason for them to be there, except like I said earlier, to try and make them apply only to the book's topic. And for the spell stuff, two ways there. One you could let her take a Dragonmark (there's some decent attack magic in the Abberant Marks), or have her multiclass into Artificer (which is good, because the Rogue also gets UMD as a class skill). And since Rogue is the Changling's favored class, no worries about multiclassing penalties.
SpyGuy 10-14-05, 01:01 PM	I'll second multiclassing into artificer. The classes skills compliment each other nicely, and an Artificer can craft together all the blow-crap-up wands and scrolls you can pay for. And if she's really into damage, and you interpret the rules that she can metamagic trigger a wand with more than one metamagic feat... well we all pretty much know what twinned, quickened, maxed, empowered, etc. wands can do.
