There's alot of history you need to edit. I was going to add the True Afterlife as a separate plane, but I might just make it a sub-layer of Dolurrh, and the City of Manifest could be in a manifest (haha) zone of the True Afterlife layer of Dolurrh.

I could see nobles and desperate people taking the Ghostwalk trying to ensure a better afterlife for their deceased, instead of the wasting bleakness of Dolurrh.

You can say that the spirits of those who died in the Cyre catacasm came back as a special kind of ghost. The people who came back could inhabit the mountains near Brealnd and form a new community: Mainfest.

Yeah I like both ideas...remember how there is a spirit wood around Manifest...and there were a group of special rangers, I forget what they are called right now, but there are a group of rangers in the Eldeen Reaches too , so I was thinking of putting the City of Manifest somewhere inside the Eldeen Reaches, but what do you guys think?

That's where I was thinking of puting them, near the mountains that separate the eldeen reaches from the demon wastes.

By the way, they're called Aboreal Guardians.

I'm just not sure how to reconcile the Spirit Wood with the Deathless of the Aerenal.

I mean... maybe it's a cultural thing, but what would have much such a strong impact on the migrating elves that they would abandon their Deathless ancestors and start putting their dead in trees?

Maybe it's an effect of the manifest ward, that just happens, but if that's the case, why aren't the elves in a big stink over it? Why would they go near the place if they didn't have the opportunity to become deathless.

Then again, alot of the elves that went to go live among the human nations of Khorvair don't follow the Undying Court.

These are all things to think about.

You can adapt that dwarven prestige class from ghost walk to make it a "guardian of the undying court".

I think it would be easier to say that the ghosts have no connection to the deathless of Aerenal. That may complicate things.
