Inspired by the Bourne series, I was thinking of the idea of a changeling PC, who was a rogue, but would combine some levels as both monk and fighter....being a servant of his government/spy/assassin-type role... Interesting....and Breland is a relatively "good" nation. The concept is of a character of neutral morals, who may gradually trend towards good over the campaign....possibly, in service to his nation, he did some relatively evil things during the war, but wants to atone for having done so, and "get out of the community"...so to speak. One of the things I really liked about Eberron is that I felt it left a lot of information specifically ambiguos. It's not like things were left out or undisscussed, more like it was left more to the DM's imagination. I can make up all kind's of orginizations and make different countires the enemy. |

Thrane/Silver Flame has "The Inquisition" "The Aurum" was born in the Mror Holds. The Korranberg Chronicle has "Reporters" House Phiarlan and House Thuranni sell their services to whoever can afford them (except each other.) Some warforged secretly serve Lord of Blades I have left out the "Blood of Vol", "Lords of Dust", & the "Dreaming Dark" because they are supernatural conspiricies, as opposed to spy organizations (when you can possess someone, or read all their thoughts, then it is not exactally "cloak & dagger" spying). |
